will this affect cooling though? the scoop obviously forces air onto the intercooler. this doesn't. it merely creates a small vacuum above the intercooler to pull the hot air out. This might work for the evo because its aerodynamics are different, but will it work for the scoob? If it does, then you're onto a winner because, even as a purist, i must say change is a good thing sometimes. Looks smart but will it function as well?..... Time will tell.
Thats a vote for looks but a minus vote for function.

So your bonnet, made from CF (very light and strong) flexes? Surely better to take the bonnet back to the supplier rather than getting involved with odd-looking scoop conversions to stop the flex? I don't see F1 cars' bodywork flexing...

it is an odd looking scoop but hardly a reason to take it back demanding a 'subaru' replica. Its a cool looking bonnet... with a cool looking 'different' scoop. What is peoples problem on this site with subarus looking different from the other million scoobs in the world?

Why is everybody calling this a "scoop" , are they looking at the pic's ??
Now having a FMIC on you don't need normal scoop , what will it do by fitting it back on ??????
This look's the total dog's
Why does your c/f bonnet flex with normal scoop on ???

Sorry i said flex when i meant the rear of the bonnet lifts at 70 mph. Its not a big deal i know but it does worry me sometimes. Yes it is functional not quite sure about at speed but sat in traffic you can see heat haze above the openings. Ive only bolted it on at the moment i cant bring myself to bond it on

Hi Simon, not a fan of it myself i'm afriad. I understand you're car is themed 'differently' and strays from the perceived norm but it just doesn't sit right with me. The lights look good however.

IMHO If the 'bulge' was lower... More of a hole, then it'd look ok, but i'm not sure about it myself... ?!?!? Morrettes don't work for me either i'm afraid, BUT..
I love the half painted carbon bonnet.. And the wheels are the mutt's nuts...
