I've tried to avoid making any St. Helens jokes or comments since I imagine a lot of the people coming will be from there . 6 years ago I went to college there and have some amazing tales of stupidity and incompetence which kinda coloured my experience of the whole town; well that and the fact that the new nightclub converted to a bingo hall during the day which was funny.

I might not be able to get there tonight. I'm moving offices next week and have to work late and sort tonnes of crap out. Looks like there will be a good turn out too and it's not fecking dark or raining.

Well, I actually got out of work on time so I'll see you all there, will make a change to see some nice scoobs for more than a few seconds before they blast away. (obviously have less points on the licence then me!)

Abdabz: There are country lanes around here? where exactly, the only vaguely fun route I know is to Southport via Magull.

Anyway, I'll be heading off in 15 minutes or so, just taking advantage of the light evenings to finally mount my Origin B2 laser detector properly (ie, so that the interference from the folding mirrors doesn't set it off), wash the car and put some oil in it.

BTW, are people going to be eating at this pub or should I get something now? I'm starving.
