IIRC we did one last year ( or year b4 ). We all met on M6 at sandbach services and convoyed over to the Vauxhall plant at E/Port.

It was a meet for a lad with leukeamia(sp) who was well into cars, unfortunately he was too ill to attend but his parents video'd it.

There was at least 60 scoobs there along with another 200 or so cars, but we all left when the max power brigade turned up.

Anyone remember the guy who had that purple nova with a fridge in front pass footwell and scooby front bumper?

Would be good to get something like that arranged again over this lads way and get him down.

Just a thought, there were some pictures on here at the time, Notorious Rev will remember cause he was under his bonnet most of the afternoon....LOL.

Might be worth mentioning that the Super Stags

are at home that day (Mansfield Town FC) and the car park is right behind one of the stands (away end I think). Just mentioned it as there are usually a few police around there on match days. Its just that in addition to the away fans arriving, they have had a problem with the boy racers in the town centre car parks and wouldnt want there to be any problems.

Kick off isnt until 3pm so as your meeting at 12 you would think it wont be a problem.

Hope thats not put the mockers on anything just providing a bit of info for you.
