oh no mate ... I'm quite happy on here. Just seems that the crew of sisters, which it looks like you are trying to join with your post, have some serious sexual tension and are taking it out on my car. I don't know what Martin uses as an initiation ceremony but perhaps you should ask if you can trial!

Bit sad if you ask me because you'll just **** things up when you go to meets as straight away you'll have people there who have a problem with you. Real good plan fellas ... perhaps you should quit whilst your ahead, before things get out of hand.

Excuse me young smurf, if you are joining the nobility could you possibly refrain from such foul, common remarks. You will be pleased to know you will be able to have a more refined discussion as to the model and colour of your modus transportus.........as long as it isnt one of those gay lardy arsed 3R's in silver

You are creating a problem so best you shut the **** up and leave it now!

my friends can wind me up about whatever they want and I take it as a laugh. You guys are not friends so what you are in fact doing is just pissing me off more and more. And I am not the sort of guy to sit there and not come back at you. So go back to your boring lives and find something else to do with your time. As you will only create a lot of bad feeling at any meets you choose to attend.

As for the Wr1 I honestly can't see a reason why one would pay through the nose to have a limited edition... but that’s because I’m not the kind of person who gets drawn into the marketing bollox around Ltd editions... after all its a car...FFS and one that like all others is super-ceded by a another that is effectively a revised version...

After all it’s not a classic Bugatti is it! It’s just a lump of Jap metal parts! And is to me worth the going rate for those parts, and not of more value because someone says they made 500! SO! They made many thousands in Japan, with better spec; to me you have to be very vain and perhaps somewhat gullibleto get exited by special editions!

This reminds me of a friend of mine… he swears by this shop in town that sells clothes marked up at stupid prices, and then crossed out and now selling for much less! I had to point out that the actual prices are really roughly what its worth and they aren’t selling anything different to anywhere else! Marketing! That’s all it is and IM did superb job of it riding on the back of the rally Win! They sold a good percentage more cars, simply buy adding a previously not release DCCD and throwing the parts list at it…

The fact is the WR1 wasn’t different enough to be anything more than a special edition that would demand a few quid more due to its additional parts! But lets not kid ourselves thinking that it’s more than that!

Nissan have done a similar thing with the 350z and the GT4 edition, revised suspension 20bhp more; but I’m sure that car in a year or two won’t demand stupid money… it will be a little more that a cooking model… like almost every other so called special edition care to mention.

Congrats Daz you've successfully realised that the WR1 is a special edition ... built to commemorate a significant event and given a few more toys and a limited build number.

Fact is that after one year my car has depreciated a whole 2k whereas an 04 STi PPP has depreciated 5k. Not that it really matters because I like all subarus whether they are classics, new ages, p1s, catalunyas, terzo or specs.

As an enthusiast I like the entire subaru brand so don't start up posts slating any particular model. Having owned other models I respect each one for what they are.

You Dazza are obviousely not an enthusiast so get little kicks from slating any subaru that is not your own. To be honest you have no place being on a site like this ... may I suggest www.youareafaggot.com or www.onedayi'llfindsomeonetolovemeasmuchasilovemyse lf.com

yet again I feel the need to point out that paying 30k for a WR1 was not "paying through the nose". If you wanted (and I believe most people do) PPP,PFF7's and springs you would have clocked up the best part of 30k anyway!!! And you wouldn't have had DCCD and you would have had insurance problems.

So stop backing up your bull **** with dis-information.

You must really lead a sad life ... going around like charlie big bananas telling all your bum chums that a sale is not really a sale and that shops artificially hike up prices to make people believe they are getting a deal. Oh my you are a marketing messiah ... if everybody listened to ****ing ***** like you we'd all drive the same car and not actually buy anything ... because we'd all be worried about how much money we are losing and how we are getting ****ed over by businesses.

Special editions sell cars and boost up brand values ... that's why subaru keep bringing them out. As do all car companies. It's something a little bit different in an ever conforming world. For ****s sake take you tree hugging save the pound bull**** somewhere else.

Why the **** do you bother coming on sites like this mate .. set up for subaru enthusiasts. Bet you're the sort of **** who trys to calculate how much MPG he's getting from an average tank of optimax, and then scurrying around trying to better it each week.

What a tosser.

I'm glad to also see that the moderators are doing a ****ing sterling job in allowing ****, pointless threads like this to exist and carry on for page after page of the same ***** bringing up old arguments. Good work guys!

At what point did i say the WR1 wasn't good value... READ IT! that statment "paying throught the nose" was refering to the silly second hand value people are attatching to the car...
Don't get me wrong, i paid not far of that figure formy Sti with the extras... and probably would have purchased a WR1 if they had been about... so i think you are reading something into it that isn't there!

Whatever has been said on here, the WR1 looks **** IMO - not a 'special' edition at all.

**** off you **** ... you haven't participated in any of this thread then decide to waltz in and throw in a comment like that. Lol how many GCSE's do you have ... with Subaru actually only making 500 and advertising it as the WR1 Special Edition you are now saying that it isn't? ****ing retarded ****.

Look martin another gimp for your little crew of WR1 haters. Getting big now isn't it!

Sorry but you simply come across a complete W@nkerand I'm sure most people on here would agree reading back through your posts... And what you've said on here...!

At what point EVER have I made a personal attack on you... At what point EVER have I said that the WR1 is crap, shiet value for money, or have knocked it at all...! basically anything other than having a pi$$ take at those who come on here spouting there WR1 is the best, fastest, most desirable Subaru ever made! and the rather dubious performance figures gained with 15bhp
WTF are you taking at the moment... in all honesty you simply sound like the kind of low intellect thug that hangs around in McDonald’s car parks and if you say my car is crap then I'll smack you! Durrrr!
I have no wish to get into some personal argument with you nor have i ever had, but you just seem to be the kind of nasty tw@t that likes to confront people!
Go away and learn to drive your amazing car, you need the practice!

Martin why the **** can't you just drop it ... You have been a **** throughout the entire thread. Trying your hardest to antagonise me and provoke a reaction. Congratulations because you have and in doing that have pissed me right off! You and your buddies seem to think that it is funny hijacking every WR1 related post and turning into a bait Gangsta thread. It's not funny anymore mate because you've now created an atmosphere for yourself at any subaru meet I choose to attend.

Don't now try to back track and say it's me who's in the wrong. You done it on guttman pugs thread, this thread and other WR1 threads. This is now a problem you have created so why not **** off now before it gets out of hand

You are just getting on the band wagon in this thread Dazza. Do I really need to copy your initial thread into a post AGAIN to highlight you taking the WR1 down to what you perceive it to be.

Why can't you just embrace it as a special edition and another quality example of the subaru brand -which you supposedly follow as an enthusiast.
