Well done Max, looks like you had a cracking time, count me in on your next session.

Spireite, great to see another chessy fan on here, are you using the same name on rivals ????

Cheers Deano.

Only me.

Just recovering after spending the weekend in casualty!!

Just to update you all, me and the two little uns I brought had a great time, apologies if they were a nuisance for anyone, but can you imagine being a young kid up there, its heaven for us, it must be like Xmas for them!!

Echoing what has been said, a well deserved thanks to everyone involved, but just who was it that persuaded me to remove sacred twin pea shooter?!!

Anyway, it didn't take a lot of guessing from my face when I got home for the wife to realise I had done something to the car, and as I said she knows what she is talking about. "It is running really well and the pick up is fantatstic now. This is not just a backbox, you have removed one of the cats!!"

My response - "no I wouldn't do that my sweet".

Suffice to say, she likes the change, in so far as the cars response goes, but she doesn't like the reverb echoing round the car. It obviously shows how often she is on the throttle!!

Conclusion - it stays but I need to find some insulation for the wagon. I guess it would not be as loud in the saloon - Ubik??

Cheers

Greenwithenvy and a bit of black and blue!!

Been driving around ever since with the stereo off.

Almost lost the car on a bend already as I liked the pitch of the noise into a corner. Doh!

PS: James only one thing to say - 'Liver and Onions'.

Knew Jane would blame me for that one too! I've been pushing you for 18 months to "just get it changed". Imagine my surprise when I returned from the butty run to find that the rotted twin peashooter had ALREADY been swapped before I got back!!!

That would be the bruising I gave you for your higher power reading than mine!

I never said the bloke that went to the chip shop. But Max actually spells out who it was below....

Didn't need spelling out - I was always in line for it. I can handle that but it takes the biscuit when I actually had nothing to do with the decision. Now if I'd been there I would have been very supportive of course

Ditto, but scary thing is that it pretty much did happen to me yesterday However, when a car makes enough tractive effort to wheelspin on the road in forth gear, you just know it's gonna try to climb out of the rollers!

Cheers,

Pat.
