Thanks to Mark for organising the day, sorry I missed you, had to fix a blowing exhaust joint, which made me late. WRC was excellent and the poor bloke operating the rollers worked his nuts off but still had time for interesting chat. Also thought the 3rd gear runs was a good idea.

Interesting time at WRC - thanks to Mark for organising it (he had gone by the time i got there).Dissapointed with my run - only 215bhp instead of the 270/280 i expected but good if it highlights a problem i didn't know i had - see thread in General Technical forum. Confusing thing was that torque was around about where it should be - 250+lbs so am now trying to figure out what could be wrong. Any techies got any ideas?

I'll state again how impressed I was with WRC Technologies - especially after organising my own RR day at PE recently - this really was a major improvement.

I'm being robbed of a whole hp - Mine was 248.5!!! - so thats really 249bhp

My car is back and I run it in nicely for a while.......... just a few tweaks and will be fine by the Powerstation day (I hope)

Then we'll see what happens - only concern will be that it will be somewhat hotter by the time that RR occurs!! but I will still be over 400bhp...............

There were a lot of disappointing figures on the day for people with td05/06's - and to be honest I'm not surprised!!

My best was with Optimax and full bottle of NF was 383bhp at PStation..........
or 415bhp with full race fuel (and comparable figures to GForce)

For those who have not gone Internal you should be able to get nearer to 390bhp if you put on a Garrett GT30/P20 exhaust housing and leave the td05/06 for the starter brigade that are satisfied with 330-350bhp........ you try using the td05/06 on a race day in the summer and you'll soon see its limitations!

I would have expected a little more from some cars - but it just goes to show that the limiting factor is the Turbo

I agree - what a great day. Good to see so many of you again and meet some new faces.
I don't know anything about cars really (learning!) I just love driving - and driving Scoobies, but your comments about WRC backed up my gut feelings on the day, which were that they've got a very professional set-up there. GREAT BLT's and super friendly people - made me feel very welcome even with my (nearly) bog standard car.
Slightly disappointed with my result - just because I didn't expect Prodrive to be fibbing about their package which certainly wasn't cheap by any means (original PPP brochure quoted 242 or 245bhp I think) Guess I'll just have to DIY this year, with help from you guys!

I lost 22 bhp ?, but i have discovered that my down pipe cat is making some very tin like noises so that might need replacing?,oh a i have ordered a aps induction kit ( the filter on it is Disgusting at the mo ).





but very good set up a wrc, im just going to start to increase the power now .
