In my defence, your Honour, I'd already ridden more than twice the distance that you had, 'cos every time we got near owt that looked like mud I ended up having to double back and dig you out.

Nah, He's just bought that nice Scott thing, and I'll bet he never uses that. Where is he anyway? Got a phone call from him today, but he's not posted on here for a while.

Page 17 of Northern, or page 17 of the thread due to excess muppetry

Not enough muppetry to keep it on the first page....

Anyway, how could it be on p17, unless Al can only see one thread per page....??

17 may have been a slight exageration, Page 5 I think it was.... But that's always annoyed me. One thread would be a right pain, but only 3 threads per page? I mean what's that about? Much better with 30+ don't you think..

Is there any rule against turning up to the mid month meet in a Ford Kak?? being as that's what I am driving at the minute because as mentioned on page 1 me car was pinched (ps. sorry for not replying but not been on here much recently, didn't seem much point really , thanks for the support though )

Of course if there is it just means I will be forced to scrounge a lift off a certain someone who lives not too far away in the house with a large number of horses in the garage

bgood, IIRC you're in Farsley I'm not too far away in Pudsey, but I've only got 265 horses ish

Anyway, them there Kak's have a cracking little chassis, you could give us trouble in the twisties

No word on the car ?

Close but no cigar as they say, I'm in Morley actually. Myself and Phil did have the street in a performance car pincer movement with him at the very top and myself at the very bottom, alas this is no more , of course if you wanna drop by here it would be great to get back in a Scoob

In fairness I have to say the little Kak is not as bad as I was expecting, like you say the chassis ain't 'alf bad, I have already embarassed a couple of cars round some corners. Of course it helps to be committed when cornering and it's much easier to be committed when it ain't your car and 30 in first is quite good too I think

I am STILL waiting for an engineer to inspect the car at the moment, will be calling the insurance company AGAIN tomorrow to chase this up

was there a decision on what was happening ?

Is it the usual TP ?

or are we doing the south yorks run thingy?

where we starting from ?

do we get a BBQ ?

are there any free women ?

should I have 1 last stella ? (maybe not)

<Magnus mode off>

Used to have a Kak a good few years ago... Nice chassis.... The rest of it escapes me though. Maybe I'm getting old....

In fact I know I am.... Dave had to be enlisted to wash & polish mi car today.... Brilliant job though - Corradoboy Valeting Co, highly recommended....

Lack of practice Vs 398 BHP?

If you're slower than anyone then you're getting the first round in

To echo what others have already asked...

Has anyone decided where we (assuming someone's gonna oblige me in the lift department) are going?

If not, I have just recalled a wonderful little pub with a rather generous car park somewhere over the other side of Smelby. IIRC the food is the proper home cooked variety (Includes a mixed grill, o' greedy one) and should take about 40 mins to get there.

Just my 2 bob.

Mais non, mon ami

I shall have to have the legal team scrutinise your briefs...

Talking of which...

I got a new car radio yesterday and it is terrific.

If I say "Rock" it plays rock and roll.

If I say "Rap" it plays rap.

If I say "Love" it plays love songs.

Three kids ran out in front of the car

and I said

"Fu*king kids!"

And it played Michael Jackson.
