Has anyone noticed a slow down in their car. Mine feels really sluggish since putting them on. But they look bloody good ........

are you going on a modding rampage. you seem to have your name down for every group buy? You'll be like me starting GB when you need a new mod to save money

Yep. It is long over due. I have had the scoob now since August and done absolutely nout with it. So I thought I would go for it. Plus the missus is staying reasonably quiet about it all so while the goings good.

And yep, couldn't agree more. Start a GB for a new mod needed. Makes sense really doesn't RAY.

Just wanted to say thanks for organising the GB. Just picked up an RA version 4 at the weekend and started looking for the obligatory gold wheels. Noticed your thread yesterday, picked up the phone to Midland Wheels and will have a set of Tarmac II's here tomorrow!! Rich held the price of £490 delivered - sweet..........
And fitted them and the car was resting on it's disc.....

These wheels are superb truly excellent. Was very impressed with Georges.

Default Brembos

Just been searching through this post to see whether anyone has encountered problems with larger brakes and these wheels. I am considering an upgrade (probably to something like a Godspeed or Brembo 335mm size) and wondered whether anyone else has done this yet?

Thanks in advance

I've finally got the insdured and put them on yesterday...they look great! (IMO!)

Only problem is that the wheel nuts are VERY close to the alloy...I scraped the first one quite badly putting it on.

and excuse the Car park location lol

Yeah, we used a socket in the end....and did a short test drive to make sure the wheels didn't fall off lol

By the way, anybody got correct tyre pressures for these tyres? (215/40) They've been sat around a while and I wanted to make sure they're correct. The car drives fine though.

(and Thanks again Ray for organising!)

Buy a socket and you are fine. George also had this problem. Went out and bought a cheap breaker bar and socket and keeps it in the car. Wheels are fine then
