I only am interested in the crystal side lights (because the rest already is crystal on my car). So if you don't want them, make me an offer I can't refuse ...

 

Fantastic, let me take delivery of them and I'll let you know if they are available. It is difficult to compare them to what i have on the car already just from a pic.

I am going to have to have a really good going over of my lights. One of my headlights is not working properly, its v v dim. The "driving lights" the previous owner added have turned out to be enormously powerful fog lights, so I have those to sort as well.

 

Luminous I still sense you have some doubt about the sidelights. The pic above shows the difference, i know they're not side lights but same effect. The bottom is what your sidelights will look like (most probably) and the top is the crystal effect. MUCH BETTER. Bottom is known as I think clear..

 

I'll have a set please. Just bought a 99 black STi. Should look a treat as my first mod!

That pic really does show a difference, crystal is a lot better. Are the headlights on a MY99 crystal or clear. I only ask as if we fit all these lovely crystal lights, the next thing on my list is likely to be crystal headlights......which puts up the price again. I had a feeling that the headlights were already crystal, but as I am now 3 days into ownership you will have to forgive my less than extensive knowledge!

Aha! It did take me a while to catch on, and some very appropriate pointing and advice, but I have finally "got it" Thanks MOK79.

The crystal sidelights will not be available, sorry ppl

 

Actually, while we are on the subject of headlights, what is the most cost effective way to upgrade them to a decent standard. The lights on my 106 Gti were much much more effective.

I've got some 65/100W ( not sure which) PIAA fog lights, but they just illuminate the kurbs. Any suggestions (or what to search for in the forums)?

 

Luminous, I have got the PIAA driving lights. I think they are wicked on a dark country road. Turn them on and its daylight again. Headlights however I am wanting more power. One of my mates said all he did was buy the Xenon Blues and hey presto his lights were as bright as...... (hmmmm not sure) any way they were bright. I'm gonna give them ago hopefully this weekend and I will let you know.

Anyone interested in splitting a pack as I only need the side lights as I already have crystal indicators and repeaters.
