Cs source is exactly the same maps but with better graphics and a few more reality tweaks, like the flight of grenades and trash around the maps.

So who won last night think the organisation wasnt up to much, next time we'll say all scoobynetters join terrorists and FTO's join CT's we'd have a much better match IMO

 

Dave, I agree although we were not really playing hardball, more of a friendly session. All I can say is thank god we got rid of the French guys before most of you joined, they were speed hacking, auto aiming and wall hacking, really began to **** me off a bit I am no slouch but going 0:15 and them having scores of 20:0 really does make you wonder! Proof was in the pudding, seeing them go streaking across the map proved my point.

Anyway, we ended up mixed sides because there were only 3 FTO guys and about 6 of us at one point. What we could do is exercise pressure on other players by voting them off Shame Fitz didn't make it, he was online earlier.

It's updatig at the mo as Valve just released a (buggy) update for CS:S

 

SJ, Yeah realised it was a friendly sesh, its all good though didnt see any of the hackers so that was OK. sorry couldnt stay on longer, I had to shoot off out, woman arranged a night out she wanted to go earlier but I ordered her to watch the soaps first so I could get online for 45minutes

Sorry guys, 1.6 just wont work on my machine, even source i get random crashes on. tried to join that server last night but as it was 1.6 it booted me to desktop.

If we get a match on source ill be there.

saw sj for a couple of rounds last night then the server changed maps i got booted, came back on and he wasnt there

does anyone know a way to force steam to update?

mine has been online for 10 minutes or so and is not automatically updating.

I have closed it and restarted it but its not having any of that, when i double click on source it tells me server is busy, anyone else having luck?

have u tried going on the steam web site and downloading the updates via that? might be worth a try

ok for all those having issues updating try this

close steam, then using windows explorer........

open up valve, then steam and in there should be a file called clientregistry.blob, delete this file then restart steam, mines updating now

fitz, yes its worked, youve been added to my friends list now

 

Click on Play Games, in the Box that pops up with the list of games, right click the game you wish to update and click properties. In the Automatic Updates section section, choose 'Always keept his game up to date'.

I had to leave mine going all night.

Sorry for playing sh1te last nite, I do anyway but my machines frame rate freezes whenever any action takes place eg shooting

Can play much better on Source but that's only daytime at work
