20yr old lad victimised at a fancy dress party.

If he wore it for a royal function, or out to a tea party then ok - but he wore it as fun.

Can't see why people should be jumping up and down just because of what he wore at a fancy dress party for goodness sake. He's just a young bloke having a good time. Bet there are not many at that age who dont do don't similar things too.

Certainly don't understand the "inbreeding" comment either. Sounds like inverted snobbery and a poor excuse to criticise him.

My father made a similar mistake a few years back.

Big fancy gathering at his old school and party invites said come dressed in WW2 period clothing. Everyone else came in typical 40s style and many in British forces uniform. Only outfit left in fancy dress shop was **** commandant so he wore that.

Especially funny as it was in Jersey and he had suffered 5 years of **** occupation during the war, BUT he has a sense of humour. Still don't think they invite him back for any of the parties since though......

It couldve been worse, he couldve spent the night clutching a gas bill and moaning about how the concentration camps where skinting him!
This country is just TOO PC! There are far more imoportant things to harp on about than some young posh lad on a night out. The Sun is to blame more than anyone else for making a fuss about it.
I suppose they couldnt find any real news to print about, ie Drug crimes, thefts, murders, how people in this country need to get a sense of fecking humour.

Given his history and his standing within the british empire (such as it is nowadays) he probably thought he was being extremely clever.

Personally I think he's a bit of a ****. If all this behaviour is a case of "I didn't ask to be born a royal!" then its complete rubbish. He has been born into royalty, he does lead a privileged lifestyle and for this he should really behave in a particular way.

Why we continue to have these cretins in the position they are is beyond me. They seem nothing more than a marketing ploy for foreigners to come visit quaint little Britain and its royal family.

quote "Why we continue to have these cretins in the position they are is beyond me. They seem nothing more than a marketing ploy for foreigners to come visit quaint little Britain and its royal family."

And a very good ploy it is, although we spend lots of cash on them we get it repaid 'royally'.
I don't agree or disagree with the monarchy I just view them as a necessary tool of the state. Jolly good job they do of keeping themselves in the media too, better entertainment than a soap opera.
I say we should film them big brother style and see what really happens.

The guy was at a private fancy dress party HTF did a picture of him make it to the front page of the SUN anyway. Yes he maybe a prince but he is also a kid first and IMHO what he does behind closed doors should stay behind closed doors.

Have to say for a lad with the cash he's got it was a ****-poor costume. Looks to me like he's taken his school shirt and just put on a Swastika armband. Cheap git could've gone for the full works.

The PC crew jumping on the bandwagon ONCE AGAIN. Why don't they get a life and treat it as the bit of fun it intended to be.
He should go as a Klu Klux Clan member next time, that'll really give the PC *** ends some more gossip to occupy their f$cking time
Just a few questions: Have you got shares in the acronym 'PC'? Who are the 'PC Crew'? The Tabloids are PC now, are they?

How soon we forget... Going dressed as a **** is a terrible association for someone in his position and public eye to make. 30million killed in WWII - not quite what you want to snuggle up to and make a gag out of...

Forgive the boy, but make him attend the 60 year memorial at Auschitz - that's one gag he'll never pull again.

Freddie Starr was, is, and always will be a prize fool. John Cleese was mocking English attitudes towards the Germans, though this may well go over the heads of some of the people who were watching Fawlty Towers at the time ...

In neither case were these people attempting to represent anyone other than themselves - like him or not, Harry IS a representative of this country. He doesn't want to be? Fine, then he should make a statement that he doesn't want the privileges of royalty, has no claim on the throne, and will accept no public money. He's then, in as much as he ever can be, a private citizen, and free to do whatever the heck he likes.

If he wants to keep his position and status, he has to act in a responsible way, which means not embarrassing UK plc for a start.

Sadly, the thing is...even if he did just that and became a private citizen and had no involement with the public, or it's money. He still would never be left alone for the rest of his life, simply because of who he's related to. I blame his mother

*Newsflash*
Last night a 20 year old man attended a fancy dress party in a costume. Onlookers said "He looked very silly indeed, but that was the point, it was a fancy dress party"
In related news, vast amounts of people were reporting "Mass sense of humour failure" and "Failing to spot when a picture is taken out of context and used to sell papers to ghoulish media junkies with no life". One social commentator was heard to say "This is the reason I dont read newspapers, They do not report the news they peddle their own opinions and try to force them upon others"
In other news, last weeks "must read scandal which threatens to unravel the very fabric of our society" was seen at the local chippie, encasing a fish supper.

This may be said before but, Who actually cares?????????

personally i couldn't give to hoots, it was a fancy dress party, not a meet your local **** group!!!!

me thinks the papers have there priorites wrong, over 150,000 (thats the last figure i heard anyway) have just died, and yet they still think someone wearing a costume is more important.
