the mini was my ex-girlfriends, we split about 18months ago.....but like everything........you move on you move up ! got myself a better one now !

Maybe we should have a mini convoy up to Stoke from Stafford, seeing as there will be at least three cars going from here and I'm not 100% sure where I am going!?

Guys, if you are interested, I've found a supplier in Stoke who can offer a set of 4 toyo T1S 215/40/17 tyres for 70 quid a piece plus 25 quid to fit all 4.

I'm hopefully going to buy a set tomorrow and I'll keep you posted as to stock availability as it's a "while stocks last" offer.

No mate, standard unleaded is good enough for me . I'm not too fussed about making top power all the time, especially given the current difference in price...

There is a tyre place up the Marston Road that were very good for Toyo when I needed a set. £40 a corner fitted for 195/50-15 - though it obviously wasn't on a Scoob!

Good bloke up on Tollgate Industrial Estate - Beaconsfied Tyre or similar. Tyrone is your man .

Stafford tyres is the place on the Marston Road, though they will be a lot dearer than £40 a corner for 17"s!

I bought 4x Toyo 215/40/17's for £270 inc P&P from Leigh Tyres on 18/05/04 (01702) 474711 which works out at £67.50 per tyre, but then paid £40 to fit them (which I thought was dear) - some excuse about them being brand new alloys and needing to take their time to fit them.

 

i assume you have got fitting on top of that though ?

 

25 quid to fit all 4, but I went to kwikfit last time at luchtime and paid a young lad a tenner in his lunch time.

Has anyone tried Hot Lane tyres on Sneyd hill in Smallthorne.... i had some Toyo's in 15's off him for my original WRX wheels and he charged me £50 a corner fitted!!Not sure how this compares but i have always used him for all of my cars. Cant find their phone number now...typical!
