quick doccy diagnosis...

A) can you straighten your back??? yes no

b) are you bent over or crouched over yes no

if the answer to a is yes and B no then you prolly havnt slipped a disk...

anf golf isnt exactly the best game to play with back probs...

my guess, muscle spasm, or trapped nerve, given that its lower back and when walking..

A good physio or sports clinic will do the job

I've used a McTimoney Chiropractor for several years now. In my experience, it is less painful than you would normally associate with the "head turning" method.

My problem tends to be from squash - lots of percussion through the hips and pelvis, which puts them out of line. I've recommended McTimoney to a number of other members at my club and they all think its great.

Not sure where you're from, but I can recommend 1 or 2 in the Aylesbury area. By all means PM me if you want any more info or check out http://www.mctimoney-chiropractic.org/

in the past year or so i have had very little "twinges"

that i can recall, so i would assume that building up the surrounding muscle did help in my case

i never knew what pain was until i recently had 2 locked lower vertebrae and and irritated sciatic nerve...

funky painkillers and anti-inflammatories helped a little until i saw a physio for the first time about a month ago...amazing...!!!

im back to about 90% fit, should be 100% in 6 weeks ish...

dont delay...see a physio today...!!!

The two back problems ive had in my life, one for 18 months were cured by going back to the gym and working out again.
