I think my best time was around here to but in the Koenissigigigng (sp?) and and topping out at around 221 mph.

Will have a blast in the scoob.

I keep getting caught out - it seems like you can take about 50% of the corners at full chat so when I slow down for one that you don't to I get a bit annoyed at myself.

The AI of the other cars in PGR2 is a bit naff - it's like playing Destruction Derby sometimes...

best starting by lifting on any blind corner -after a week or so you'll remember most of the flat out corners
start slow then speed up

The world series is only done when you have all the Platinums

I know of only a few that have completed it without cheating. Still have nightmares about the M3 time trials and cone challenge.

I just went through it getting Silvers, only wanted to unlock Nurburgring - Will go back to it after I've done all the races in Arcade.

Been playing Halo 2 most of this weekend though - so far I don't see what's so special about it to be honest - only being able to cart 2 weapons about is a bit of a pain, but it does make you a bit more miserly with ammo.

Not that I want to alarm you or anything but my best time in the TVR is a 6:05, and my best in the Enzo is a 6:32.
Radical I have done a 6:42 and the scoob a 7:57.

The top guys online are hitting 5:58 in the TVR, which is devastatingly quick. I play with some quick guys so I learned it all from them, but we don't only do ring races as that gets boring a lot so we tend to mix and match the cars and tracks a lot! Keeps it alive but I am still getting a bit sick of PGR now after a year or so!!!

Most of the sub 6:00 guys use the 'jump forward' cheat, so 6:05 is bloody quick twigster

My best so far in the radical is 6:27 (DaftJock) but there is plenty of mistakes in that . Worst thing is you are spending half the lap bouncing off the limiter in top....

Had a quick crack last night in the Koenissig-e-thingy and cracked 7mins after 4/5 laps. I reckon 6.30 is doable but those times someone was quoting in the TVR make me wanna give up now lol.

Just finishing the ultimate series cones and I will have done all on gold. Plat is just a **** take and no life for a month so I wont bother there.

Did 8.23 in the scoob (only 1min slower than the Enzo) but still contained a lot of mistakes - just need to learn the track really.

Still not bad considering I've only done 3 full laps...

That is by far the worst cone challenge going as their is 1 corner that requires a slide or a good line bonus to keep the Kudos going and you often get out of shape and crash You need to complete both laps in 1 kudos run to hit the target. First time I completed 2 laps I was 24 points short and nearly threw the Xbox out the window. Keep going you will do it. Some of the later cone challenges can get the points in the 1st lap followed by a mad dash for the line on lap 2. Make sure you bank the points before dashing !!!

Nice one. What sort of Kudos Ranking you got?

The Cone Challenges are a pain and I don't find them all that interesting, so doubt I'll be going for the top award in those categories.

Will have to take a piccie of my screen when I do that 1 remaining race in GT3...

I gave up on that BMW challenge, too much risk of physical damage. Got gold and was happy with that.

the ones getting fast times this in a race or alone & are you just using the normal unsubtle stick that with any slight press hurtles in either direction :curious:

Did steel race in carrera gt in 8:14 after been rammed & cut up in all directions....
tried it first in the enzo but far too twitchy

whats the technique cant do more than bronze in most cos of the crazy ******* getting in the way...

Are you meaning around the 'ring?

I found that most the other cars tend to have off's, so keep your nose clean on lap 1 and you end up making up places by default, then it's the road to yourself for lap 2...

I've gone back to GT now on the PS2... been trying to improve my times to move up the leaderboard on db.granturismo.de - but the top scores on there are phenomenal.
