Sort your launch technique out! I know what you mean though, I had a mildly modded MY99 and got a fright when a Saxo VTS stuck with me. It was dry and I didn't launch it quite right but still surprised!
True on the Cossie but the first WRX came out in 1992 and was cheaper IIRC. Guess there's the Sierra and the Lotus Carlton (bit exceptional though)
Im done arguing, the guy who started this was on a wind up, not after an opinion. Off to buy some bits

same as that, waiting for new headers to arrive for fitting
not arguing, just trying to bring a few back into the real world, the one where 4wd can actually be a hinderence when moving and n/a car have a smoother power delivery.

blah blah blah
load of old bollocks, who REALLY gives a toss about how fast it actually is? There will always be a car that’s faster than yours unless you have something silly like an Enzo or a Ford GT or a Zonda or something else that has a kick *** power to weight ratio...if you are driving your scoob to the limits of its performance ability on the road then you are a **** anyway.
Drive the car you want to drive and screw the rest of them and thats all I have to say.

I would have if I had put them on Were on the car when I got it.
HKS ones are non stainless, I believe, but can't find out what grade of steel they are (for heat conductivity purposes)
Cant get too excited, heat down there isn't as critical as other areas.
