and its thornaby m8 pronounced localy as either thorn abby (if thats where you live)or fornabey if like myself your from Billingham and ill keep me eye out for you (mind there is a few imprezas round here)

Alyn,
I've just told my mate Terry from "The Dark Side" to get in touch with you re a problem with his Evo VI. He reckons he's "overboosting" and "may need a Ralisport ECU"!!
I think he may need to someone that knows a bit about them first before he wastes money on something he doesn't need.
I know his car has an AVCR, so I'm guessing he just has his boost set too high and is hitting fuel cut.
His motor also feels a little bit loose on the back end.....like there's a bush or two knackered. I told him that you know a bit about them thar Evo thingies and may be able to point him in the right direction.
Hopefully he'll heed my words and give you a call, and pop to see you.

Well got the car back with the PPP fitted.
Nice difference, peak boost 1.3bar and was able to stop thanks to new brakes from:

hi all can anybody recommend a good specialist to take MY98 2000 turbo to have a once over as my horn does not work(wait 4 the jokes)and would like to see if there is any other probs dont think there will b as it has just passed the mot 2 weeks ago but better get it checked 4 peice ov mind
