Richie,

Wouldn't fancy 'Nights' myself.

I'll stick to 8:00am till 5:00pm anyday

Or..............we could do those 'namby pamby' shifts that Mickey's always going on about

lmao

i used to do nights
i found a king size bombay bad boy pot noodle at 3am normally kept me awake and alert for a while, along with 2 pro plus tablets

get home for about 8am, have 2 "one per night" nytol tablets, glass of milk and a quick ham shank and i normally slept till 4pm

you dont relise just how bad night shifts are till you sop doing them for good

give me 13/14hour day shifts anytime

i would agree about the grown ups being out the way

i used to do reverse donuts in the little yellow electrc cars on niteshift

we used to build race tracks, once or twice with a proper nightstage, where you had to have the little lights on the front switched on or you couldnt see **** all, that part was through the metal shop

you could only add the night stages if the metal shop lads wernt there ovb

i rember working double time on the sunday to paint the floors for a important visit, later on in the week it had big thick black donut marks on it for sum strange reason

2 1/2 hours sleep, nothing to eat for 24 hours (brain not registering hunger and can't be arsed to make anything) and the sun is blazing outside.

3 more to go

gutted.......

swapped my spark plugs today, i spent about 45 mins unscrewing the first one

before i rememberd that the last time i did the spark plugs, i spent about 1 hour trying to unscrew the first one, and the reason for that is that the spark plug socket is to thick to fit all the way down to the plug

i could vagley remember that there was a reason why it took so long last time, but i was way of the mark

took me 2 hours

i hate changing spark plugs

I think the fine count for the SSO is

Martin
Marty
Dion
Mark

Normal meeting point for runs to Elvington is the BP services 3 miles South of Crathorne on the A19

Cheers

Nice to see a scooby put to good use.
Much more fun than the roads, and no gatsos.

guess what we valated today

a "panther"

no not a big cat, one of these "badboys"

its a panther kallista.
comes with a 2.9i ford lump and very little else
i didnt even fit in it properlly lmao

i had never even heard of "panther cars" after sum reasearch on the net i think there a "real" manufacturer and not just a kit car>?

Panther Kallista 1.6, 2.8, 2.8i, 2.9I (2.3 on the last Korean built models)

The Panther Kallista was produced in the greatest numbers with an aluminium body on a steel Panther chassis, choice of 1.6, 2.8 or 2.9 Ford engines in various guises, Ford running gear, a complete range of paintwork options, and with a list of optional extras you will find it hard to see any two models alike. Performance is very good, with a 0-60 mph time of under 8 seconds for the larger engined models. A culmination of performance and originality.
makes a pleasant change from all them fooken vectras we have been knocking out

Cool

The Autocross season is upon us, and we have secured a field, but the corsa still isn't ready.
Work done so far.
Grafted on front end
Rollcage
2 litre red top, F20 box, tranX diff
Fiberglass arches, F&R bumpers, hatch and bonnet, with scooby scoop for cooling
Loads of bits and pieces, could have bought a decent Scooby for the cost so far.!!!!!!!

So racing this sunday at causey park , banging around in the knacker job that is our old festa. Still at least were playing.

Question help reqd !!!

Car Info ! - I've spotted a White STI 5 Type R for sale. Engines blown but there was a comment on it being an ex TTS car.
You wouldn't know the previous owner would you ?
I'm only after crash damage info, service history, modifications etc as I know the engine is now "as new".
There would be no comeback on the previous owner as I'm buying from a dealer - I'd just like a natter for
piece of mind.

can anyone help me out with this for a mate ?

Hello lordharding sounds like my old Type R traded it to Stan Palmers for a UK 04 WRX.

Bought by RRH and 6 miles done the road number 4 cylinder went

Originally bought by me from Hexham Horseless Carriages, a TVR garage, who imported it.
3rd owner when I got it and completely standard then.
Mods include full Revolution system, K&N panel filter, full red Samco's, Earth mod, DS2500 pads with AS Performance discs, Goodridge brakelines, Lamco 3 set gauges, knocklink, 17" Speedline Turini's with 215/40 T1-S, full Silkolene fluids and a few other odds and sods I forget

Taken care of by Gilesgate Subaru and Revolution.
Included were a ton of receipts for bits and bobs including servicing, no idea why the bugger blew up as always used Optimax and NF Race

Also got damaged prior to me selling due to debris in the gale foce winds
Dent to passenger door, small dent to roof and full length of spoiler scratched

Afternoon all. By god Richie if thats your old car, you got rid of it just in time. Imagine how gutted you would of been if it had let go whilst going to drop it off. A close shave me thinks.

Was talking to a guy last night with a megabusa. This lotus seven kit car was being powered by a Hyabusa engine and was fooking rapid.

I have managed to acquire a brand new Powerflex polybush kit that covers all the cars original bushes for under £280 now just to fit it. Has anybody fitted these or know of any problems fitting them.
