It obviously knew I was not happy as it kicked in within 20 secs this morning. Then on the way home it was almost instant. Typical!

One thing I also noticed is that the 80mph warning seems to come around a bit quick! Maybe I better slow down a little.

Was the 35 minute one the first time you had used the device?

If so then you should have read the manual :P It tells you that the first time it will take ages, and you shouldn't be driving around while it's trying to acquire as it will take longer.

No, it had already got a link, it was the next couple of days that it still had problems. Maybe it was still learning. Well see how we get on over the next week.

Sam, I would ring Origin and report the location in case there is any problem with their database. I would also do another update on the unit.

Another Problem..

I was driving without any music and kept hearing this ratling comming from the unit itself...rather anoying..

Took it off, and held it in my hand and shock it..and seems the buttons are shaking inside the unit..thought the unit has always stayed in the cradle or on my desk in the office never been dropped or mis-handeld

Can someone please shake the solo unit and let me know if the buttons make any sound as if they are loose..Seems the up/down button are loose on the inside..

Called origin, they said it is a common problem and send the unit back to them for a maximum 7 day turn around...

Would have not expected for the unit to do this so soon seeing the price you pay for it
