Just had a thought!!
People complain about the bog standard Surrey Meets, but no one is willing to try something new, so....
How about a rolling road day instead of one of this years meets?
I've found a place in Camberley, so it's still in Surrey ( ) and they can do rolling road days on a Sunday!
If there are 18 or more cars, then it's only £30!
If people are interested, I can organise it!
Details of the rolling road here: http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk

The rolling road is booked up 2 months in advance, so earliest would be mid-Feb, but if they are happy to do Sundays we can have it instead of the March meet (Sunday 13th March).
I'll confirm the date and booking once we have 10-12 cars, and we can fill up the rest later. (Up to 22 cars)
As a side issue they can cope with automatic gearboxes (where as PE can't)
The Essex guys are quick at filling in lists, so here goes (priority given to Surrey Regulars, which might count me out!!! )

We all know there is much debate in the accuracy of rolling roads!
They measure the power at the wheels and calculate transmission losses either by calculation or coast down runs, giving transmission losses and ultimately (for the pub ) power at engine figures.
A Porsche GT3 was on the rollers the other day and the engine figure calculate was within 1bhp of the Porsche figure. Sounds pretty good in my books, I just hope there aren't too many dissapointed people!
If it makes you all feel better, I will be running a UK Forester with 100k on the clock with an automatic gearbox. Standard book figure 177bhp!
