what about the dodgy hair loss

 

steroids dont CAUSE hair loss per se. some steroids speed up a genetic trait for hair loss tho. in other words, if you were going to lose your hair later in life, some steroids may cause you to lose it faster. if you weren't going to lose your hair anyway, steroids wont suddenly cause u to lose it.

 

I'm not into bodybuilding, (no genetics for it) but i am into cycling, possibly the most drug ridden sport in the world. I have thought ( in the past) about taking various drugs such as EPO, HGH, actovegin, blah blah but the prohibitive cost and thoughts of my untimely demise have always made me uneasy.

I think the problem with steroids and other illegal performance enhancing drugs is that generally people have no idea HOW to take a course of them. I mean, I wouldnt take someones advice from the net (no offence)

 

...which is why you should do plenty of your own research.

i have had to help out a HUGE number of people who didn't do any research, got some bad advice, and ended up doing themselves a lot of damage. crazy really, when all the research is out there. granted, the medical industry has little to no interest in running steroid experiments, but the bodybuilding industry has been using them for decades, and is leagues ahead of everyone else.
