Local company selling plates near me usually has a few good ones. One of the guys who owns the place used to have EAT 4 T and BEG 4 T. White Esprit used to run around with HOT 69 and a guy I knew a while ago had COL 51 made to look like COLS 1 on his Bently then his Esprit. Another friend has H1 4NDY on his X5 but been offered BAD1E. There's also a Toyota Hi-lux with H1 LUX and the guy who owns Dixon cars has D1XON (now that must be worth a few quid!) which was on his Ferrari 355 till he lent it to Naz who, IIRC, put it into the central reservation on the M62 and wrote it off.

Mine...

Had words with a few local Plods, who are quite happy with the spacing

Sadly, the car is no more

...but it's been replaced with an 8

There's a Smart locally with S111ART, which looks

and there's also a Metro (worth about 50p) with a single letter, single digit plate, something like H8. Must be worth thousands!

My old boss had MUS1C which I think was previously owned by one of the Beatles. Sadly he died when he crashed his helicopter

Back when i was a lad i managed to get through to the DVLA and buy this plate for £499....Brilliant.
Four years ago forced to sell it by an insolvency practicioner they gave me £2500 for it........
If you check now with some of the big registration vendors your won't believe what it is up for now.......

Clicky
Makes me very sad every time I think of it.

SJ - http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showpost....5&postcount=72

See NSX 1 (or other way around) at the Reading Jap meet too

A guy I worked with a few years back claimed to have done some work for a ‘lady of the night’ based in Mayfair with 2 *** on her porker

I see CUT 1E around here a fair bit. Unfortunately she’s not - she looks like Magda from There’s Something About Mary

I had a chance to Buy CLA 55Y when it came back off contract hire (used to work at Hertz Leasing) on a Sierra Ghia estate (gives you a clue how long ago this was). The site from LuckyMan has it listed at £284,000

b@st@rd bank manager wouldn't give me a loan to buy the car at the time (mind you I was 17 and needed £6.5k - which in today's money is roughly £283K. He didn't believe me that this would be a sound Investment - Bankers haven't changed over the years.
