E1LSE was for sale on autotrader recently (for a Lotus Elise obviously)
Not bad for Lotus owners, but was 2k IIRC.
My old man almost bought an Audi years back with the plate HOP 1N - probably be worth a few bob now!

81's are common name for cutters and wirestripper combined. A favourite tool with both exchange and external staff.
Xon is a flow control setting in modems.
Thats the closest thing we could come up with .....

The UR 02 SLO belongs to a bloke on Pistonheads I think. Also seen that car at Goodwood. I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that his otherhalf now had UR 03 SLO on her car
Best I've seen was on a jet black TVR Chimera 'X0CET'. One of the car mad bosses at work has M1NET on his Morgan. Seems to get very funny looks when he drives it through France (go and ask a Frenchman )

Cliff Richard lives just down the road from my work and he's got MOV 1T on his Merc. And another good one that i've seen was a fair few years ago now on a 16v Astra gte. It was GTE 16V

Theres' a black Audi estate that I've seen around the West side of Edinburgh, with MAD 4 1T . Not seen the driver so not sure if they fit the Madchester scene stereotype.

One for the ladies...
N1 SMO on a Skyline
SEX 1E on a Saph Cossie
432 ONE on a Golf
V111 EVO on an Evo VIII
SX51 TVR offers by PM
Sadly seen Cliff about a fair bit too, not a very Christian attitude to other motorists though
One morning on the way to work I overtook another scoob with a number plate one digit lower than mine e.g. A123 ABC & A124 ABC. Both were DBM classics too!

In N'orn Iron our reg's are 3 letter and then 4 numbers which can make some good combinations, I have seen lots of fuel tankers with the plates "OIL xxxx" on them.
I used to have Toyota with FXI 4712 on it which I was thinking of modifying to "FX I47 12" but I never did.
Windyboy.
