Bad news, I'm afraid - all the above examples are understeer.

I think that maybe the laws of motorsport were rewritten when you had that rear end SKID into the barriers or, then again, was it fuel surge??

 

"Push", or 'push-on understeer' is more associated with RWD cars, and more common in LSD equipped RWD cars, but:

It's still understeer.

I would put it like this:

Understeer : car is turning at less of an angle than that requested by the driver using the steering wheel.
Oversteer: car is turning at more of an angle than that requested by the driver using the steering wheel.

All this talk of skids etc is misleading. If the car is turning less than the angle requested by the driver then the front wheels are skidding. Its just a case of how much. If it's the front wheels skidding, its understeer, if the rears, oversteer.
