I've just bought a Terzo, well the remnants of one...
It's a stolen recovered Cat C write off (bent OSF strut and wing), I don't know much about the car, and a fair few bits are missing...like the engine, gearbox and rear diff and unfortunately the centre console and gear surround with the number
On the off chance is anyone keeping a record of the cars, their numbers etc?
At the moment it's just going to be tucked away while I finish putting my other Impreza back together (another MY98...well at least the shell is) which I've owned from new. Once that car is finished I'll be using the bits left over from it to put the Terzo back together (basically I've got nigh on all the bits left over that I will need apart from some trim) as a fast road/junior track car

Tim,
Unless Subaru UK kept records I think you'll be struggling to find out its original number. Perhaps you could research the chassis number and find out which dealer it was supplied too. I'm certain that each dealership would have had a minimal amount of stock given the low numbers of Terzo's made
Just a thought

I was hoping someone could tell me if there's a way that I could work out the Terzo model number just by looking at the last 5 digits of the VIN, I have seen from some website that is possible maybe someone could confirm that?

Hello yes I phoned Chris Gillat on 0121 522 2000 and was told to phone IM on 0121 747 4000 because he had moved there now. When I phoned that number I was told that Chris had now retired. Then I was put through to Sales Allocation and told the Terzo was number 42, then put through to someone else to confirm that, and it was finally confirmed that it was number 42 . So basically from what I can tell to find out the Terzo model number phone 0121 747 4000 and have your VIN and registration number ready

As we both know, the Terzo was one of the rarest (but certainly the best!!) of the Classic special editions. They are now all about 10 years old. The amount that have been crashed, smashed, stolen and face it come to the end of their useful life must be pretty high and I suspect there'll be less then half the original 333 that were built still around.
But face it, they're still the nicest colour

still got mine but also know of a couple that have been wrote off. In 10 years cant be that many left of the original 333. I have even looked into setting up a terzo owners web site and asked dvla if they would be able to find out how many left. Would everyone be interested and show the rb5 and p1 boys the best of the classics

Bibo took all our details to set up a site this time last year, but it never happened.
I think there are too few of us owners to set up a site.
I don't mind having our special thread here instead.
