"quality driver" Cheers mate, dont think Spally and Steve would agree though, went a bit quiet when I hit some black ice........well, it went sideways what ever it was

I drove up to go on track for the last time and the marshal said that he was sure I got black flagged earlier, Me - "no sir, wasnt me", Marshal - "yes it was, I was the one that gave you back your bung"........ooooops Me - "thats right, and I've fitted it now so it's ok", Marshal - "er.....ok"

Gonna get 3 sets of plates for next time, 6 black flags here we come!!!!!

Oh what another great day out !!

Firstly Big thanks to Phil & John Baldock for getting this on !! Also Andrina & Lady Jane for the lovely food Sure you will all agree that it was well worth the £5 per head !!

Great to see everyone having so much fun !!

But for me if if it were not for the guy's there from XTREME SCOOBIES , KNOWLSEY , PAUL, GRAHAM , I would not of been out on track !!

Had big problems with a leaking dumpvalve , Knolwsey sacrifised his own day out in his car just so that i could go out !!

Even opening up for me @ 10am Today so that i can get a replacement fitted now that is service!!

Knowlsey Then talked me through 10 or so hot laps teaching me the correct lines , Braking points etc ! Thanks m8 ..

Big respect also to the Gangsta , Who finnaly put Gutman in his place

Hers to the next one

errrrrrrrrrrr and how did he do that Tiny???

Mind you I guess if you call not being able to shake of a 130bhp 15 year old 205 for a couple of laps being put in my place then yeah he sure did it...

Dont worry I will post the vid up soon

Thats the trouble with jap crap........ great on them big long 1 mile straights but not so clever when they get to the braking zones and wet twisties ........... guess its because you spend so much time at santa pod maybe???

Anyway it was nice to meet you all and a top day out.

vids and pics of everyone will be on our site tonight / tomorrow.

My drive home was a lonely one too!

Got seperated from the rest of the group in Bedford and thought everyone was going back to the Shell garage we stopped at on the way.....NOPE!

Had a gentle (and lonely) drive back at about 65mph all the way down the M1 and round the M25 waiting for others to catch up (as I had discovered they had stopped elsewhere for fuel)......got as far as the M11 junction before RobRoy, Gangsta, Betts and a couple of others caught me up!

Still....saved some fuel!

Big Boy, I didn't realise you had a problem . I just thought you were taking it easy to conserve petrol No wonder everyone flew off.

BTW, who else done the trip there and back, plus 30 odd laps on ONE tank of petrol (unleaded of course ) ?????

Knowlsey is looking into a few 'tweeks' .

Want to sort the brakes out first, although the standard ones did fare quite well. Then who know??

The Capri has now gone , so what can I annoy the neighbours with now

well what a day!!!! Had a ******* awesome time ... bit gutted about my car failing the noise test - which was f.in riduculous - but thanks to John M and the Crossroads team the day was not ruined!

Apologies to anyone who asked to come out with me as a passenger that I didn't take out. I got way to carried away and ended up doing something like 7-10 laps each time I went out. £110 in fuel

Good to meet you also Gary, that little pug is a rocket ... I've heard about it so many times It was good to see what it can really do - which was surprising to say the least. Looking forward to seeing your pics etc.

I'm thinking about sorting another Brands Hatch day out sometime in May - good to see the crew there once things get decided.

Oh and well done to the girls for sorting out the grub.
