took about an hour of hard graft but it is now off. after all the usual hairdrier and wd40 n all that got a bit pssid off and almost left the mess.

however went down to "focus" and got a little bottle of this stuff aptly named "sticky stuff remover" smells a bit lemony but will almost disolve anything!

then got the handle of a garden trowel wrapped it generously in a cotton rag, soaked the lot and scubbed like ****.

got a bit scared o the dull patch after but a bit of colour magic and a lot of auto glym sorted it right out.

good luck.

Question

Manny - Did the centre arm rest come with your car, or was it fitted by you?

I'm after one for my Wagon.

Cheers

I think the WRX sticker does look a lil kiddish but it gives that reminder that it is a WRX lol

in my case, I have a STi version 5 Wagon in black and i have the sticker on. I personally prefer to leave it on but have second thoughts at times cos everyone refers to it as a WRX n not a STI . Y didnt they stick on STI stickers for the Sti's lol

I also removed the sticker, top tip is the hairdryer to remove the sticker, then hairdryer and elbow grease to remove the glue left over.

Mine is up for Sale - see For Sale section

Just picked up my MY03 WRX wagon.

Car is a standard UK dealer supplied car (at the moment!!) in black mica.

This is the only piccy I have from the dealer advert, but once the weather improves I'll give the it the full Meguiars treatment and post some more.

http://www.rs25.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=25981

Replica based on a USDM MY03 TS wagon

- JDM STi version 7 motor/ECU
- IHI VF34 turbo
- STi pink (565cc) injectors
- BoostCooler methanol injection
- Perrin fuel rails
- Perrin short ram
- Perrin inlet
- Perrin downpipe
- Helix uppipe
- Bosal 3" stainless TBE
- Stock TS 5sp gearbox
- SPEC cerametallic clutch

- Tanabe sport springs on stock struts
- 24mm Progress rear sway bar
- STi wagon 20mm front sway bar
- Perrin rear links
- Whiteline front links
- SportMax 18"x 7.5" Legacy replica wheels
- Toyo Proxes4 tires (tyres...ahem)

The dyno run calculates WHP rather than BHP. The BHP is estimated to be at 360-370. Thanks for looking.
