Hi Trails,
Heard it was getting a bit oily last year and needed an engine refresh. Not bad after probably 80+k at 430BHP.

Hatch is going well (touch wood) ! 16k on the new engine. Hopefully got the oil temp sorted with the 44 row cooler/ducting. Hope to get it on Snetters next month to test it out

+ least rain + more sun

Snetters is about 15 miles - if the wind is right/wrong you can just hear it.
Easier to reach than Castle Combe !

Just fitted centre silencer, so now 88dB on static from 103.5dB, so should be good for even Bedford
not as good to listen to on the road tho

Miltek 3" decat, with a H&S 16" x 8" x 5" centre silencer in place of the resonator !!!! (about the biggest you can fit in there !)

When I did my wagon roof rails, I just bought the new strips and clips from the Subaru dealer and removed/fitted the new strip without the gaps. Just need plenty of clips IIRC.

might have to expand on that a bit for a dumbass like me! so you didn't go down the route of taking out the inner liner/handles etc?

You will need to drop the roof lining and the other parts that hold it in to get to the bolts that hold the rails in. You will also need to fill the holes that have been vacated, I used a blob of black silicone sealant and haven't had any probs for about a year since I did it.
