below is lordharding's Guide to Northern Big One (NBO)

.. and don't forget there is a Southern Big One (SBO) later on in the year (we hope)

Get your name down in the list @ www.scoobywagons.co.uk (which will redirect to the Thread)

The tradion is Im number one on the list and Ninnybobs is No 2 the first 20 places are on a first come as its a scamble when the list goes live to be on the top 20 !!!

such is the enthuasim for the NBO

when I prepare the list I will put the 20 of the wagons at places 20-40 aprox so if you want to be on the wagon list post your name on here !!!so I can group them together

In case any of you live in a foreign country /just got a PC / upgraded from coal fires to electric / learned to read

What is the NBO ?

Northern Big One

Four years ago at the Tyne tees meet I had another crazy idea of a small garthering of scoobys We thought we could possibly muster up 30 from Cumbria and 40 from Tyne Tees

On the day we got 470 cars all parked in a field !!

It will be held as last year at Lightwater Valley theam park near Rippon North Yorkshire start at 11am untill 4 pm ish

The date is sunday 18 th June 2006

entry £5 donation to cancer reseach

Last year we raised over £3000 for charitys

trade stands ,Car of the Day ,Raffles.and plenty to do in the theam park for the kids /better halves

We are developing the club stand so I thought in Conjunction with Smiles

Hey lets park the wagons together ###

Last year we had only 26 out of 400 ++ scoobys so It would be nice to park them together ##

Due to the logistics in parking 400 scoobys in the field in under 1 hour I will need the wagons in a bit earlier 10 ish as they will be in the Club stand section ##

All wagons will be parked in the same direction and being a perfectionist that I am for detail I would even like the same colours together !!##

As I am now starting to co-ordinate the full show which will keep me busy for the next 18 weeks I would like to apppoint the

King of the Wagons ####

Smiles
to form the Wagon committee and to manage the listson here and the actual display on the day

We have our slogan all ready .

2006 year of the wagon !!

Can anyone get a <Wagon Corner >banner made ????

who can sort out the colours as there will only be say 30 aprox to co-ordinate ?

Can anyone plan a wagon convoy ???

As with our cumbrian scoobs display I like well modded cars to have their specs on A4 paper typed up and displayed on their windscreens ??

Could anyone get some rope or banners to section us off from the salloons that cant get a bike in the boot

Im desperate to get a supplier who can sell Sti rear spoilers on the day

any contacts ?

Any other ideas ???

There is a club stand of the day Competion which is very competitive

Could we win it ?

im the senior judge !!!

let the wagon owners get our heads together with some ideas for the ###########

First Wagon meet ########

on sunday 18th june at Lightwater Valley at the NBO 4

Here's a recent pic of my wagon I needed some help to get out of there...

A few minutes later my friend had s dimilst expirience...

Snow was super soft so nothing happened to the cars. And no no, we usually don't drive our cars like that. Just getting a little too excited in the snowy season

When not doing stupid stuff, car looks like this

Default Funny Lad.

It is indeed, had a north south meeting at sprucefield on the outskirts of belfast and as alot of people were unsure of the location (many traveled 4 or so hours) it seemed like a logical landmark for them to suggest meeting at.
Cheers

What like this you mean

Unfortunately it encountered a tragic end during a low speed dogfight with a high kerb, during co-pilot training of Mrs Smiles

Don't know about rear parking sensors, I think mrs smiles needs a front splitter parking sensor

I've been lucky with mine so far, I have the STi6 splitter on my 40mm(?) lowered classic - the exhaust and mudflaps ground out a lot over speed bumps but the bodywork has been fine.

I actually ripped a hole in the floor of my old E30 BMW 325i Sport by driving over a kerb which I didn't notice!! The floor was very rotton though (as was the rest of the car), hence why I broke it for parts in the end.

That sounds like a good idea, I'm sure with a bit of wet n dry after cutting them you could make it a pukka job!
