I won't bore you all with the early years as these are mostly tears and poor engine re-builds. Suffice to say I have had many evolutions in my wagon

From Standard V5 STI I have been through the 300, 400 and now the 500hp barrier. I have junked gearboxes, diffs and drivshafts not to mention piles and piles of money but I have to say this year is the only year thats beaten that first feeling back in 2001 when I first bought it of total and utter satisfaction.

Today:

Built EJ25 - Forged internals
SC460 Turbo
850cc injectors
Bosch 044, parralel fuel rails
FMIC
RCM ceramic headers and revolution motorsport 3.5" de-cat system
Alcatek Ecu

All work done by Chrs Palmer Auto Services in Bristol - Spen and Nik

2008 Spec C gearbox with centre adjustable diff, R180 rear diff with custom driveshafts.
Exedy Twin plate Hyper Clutch

Exe-tc coilovers with top adjustables, Perrin adjustable anti-rollbars. Polybushed on every single mounting point.
Rota 18" T2Rs with Yokhama Advan Neova AD08 265 35 r 18 supplied by my dear friend Maggs at Ruislip Tyres

it was mapped by Bob Rawle three weeks ago and made 503hp on 20% methanol and 530 ft/lbs @4500rpm - check the SC460 Scooby clininc thread for the power graphs.

Anyhow enjoy some pics:

I love this! I would love to get mine turbo 2000 to your standard!
The wide arch kit looks brilliant!
If I had the time and money I would like to do just a few of the mods you have done!
I do like the look of these classics I didn't think many of these around still fewer on the road now.
All in all a good looking car well loved!

Jura- I was hoping you would pop up- Love the Bugeye!!

The arches are very aggressive on the GF8 shape I think the Bug could do some more sophisticated shapes and still look awesome.

we should organise a wagon meet methinks.

I have to admit to taking the arch idea directly from that car.

Then me and Maggs from Ruislip wanted to go utterly insane on the tyre and rim front so we maxed out on the T2Rs and the Yoko AD08s

wasn't expectng it to work so well on the handling front. you may notice that it rides quite high thats simpy to allow the suspension the suspension to move with out rubbing the arches away.

Few pics of my wagon from another thread.
Nothing compared to s100bey's and jura's wagons but still its mine and i love it ! :-)
Its mapped to 1.3 bar with a few engine upgrades and sti intercooler, lowered on apex springs with Rota GRA wheels, it also has a straight through after burner system.

Well I hope indeed that you get to the magic "500" number or thereabouts it certainly makes the drive home a damn site more interesting. Bob Rawle had left me with a "safe "map due to a slipping clutch last mapping session so first reading was 268hp!!!

last reading was 503HP on same day so imagine my surprise on the way home

Really wish you the best on the rollers my friend

As I say to the guys in MSOC

Mainly Shifting old Crates as long as you can lug a load, some shopping, a couple of jerrycans of methanol pre-mix or a dog or two then its pretty sweet by me.

your cars looking fine IMHO

Sonic blue.

I had the exact same car, sonic blue wagon. Mine was an EU import, they didn't come in sonic blue on MY00 in the uk as std as far as I know. A few people ordered rhd cars via euro dealers and collected them and drove them over here.

Miss mine, as you say very rare. Wish I'd never sold it.

Current mods Ann and I have done so far include:
HKS Panel Filter
HKS BOV
Japspeed Centre Pipe
Ninja Backbox
Top Secret 18 wheels..

Here's a few of mine since:

Removing the roof bars
Rolling the arches
Fitting the new wheels (Rota Force)
Spraying the head lights
Moving the horn out of view

Still got lots I'd like to do....Plan to change the grills top and bottom next, have the inlet and rear brakes powder coated, replace the exhaust from turbo back for 3" and then have it tweeked on the map.

It's relatively easy in all fairness....hardest part was getting dealer to order the right blanking strips....ha ha

Roof lining and a fair amount of interior on the pillars needs to come off so do it on a nice dry day..

Seeing how you asked soooooo nicely (notice my sarcasm )...

here's a link to a guide for doing it - I'm pretty confident the part numbers listed on this thread are the right ones - however when you go to your dealer they should be able to confirm..

Give us a shout if can be any more help

cheers
