If I finish work early enough I will be there, but not been before, if I am coming from chelmsford which way down the 127 do I go, southend or london bound?

If you coming from Chelmsford i.e London Bound

Take the Brentwood turnoff on the A127 then head towards Brentwood

The pubs rear entrance is a few hundred yards on the left

If you Southend Bound same junction but you use the front entrance
