Yep sure did.
And not a concrete post in sight!
Feel knackered this morning, ended up using those roads again on my way back from Manchester airport. A bit trickier in the dark but still a lot of fun.

The road up & down Edale is a bit of a $hitter. Nearly bricked myself on the first corner when I saw the drop.
Cheers
Dave

Yeah was a good drive, I think I managed to make it to 2.5 miles before crashing!! Was the same AA van and 2 cars that I avoided. I never knew RX7,s could fly!!!! They dont seem to land too well mind you, think that the coilovers have save me from destroying the suspension when it landed. Anyone else see wot happened??
I think I'll pass on the next run out!!

It was the S bend and you lost the back end big time on mud on the right hander which to give you credit you very nearly corrected in time but you then dissapeared up a large muddy bank , back onto the road again and lots of smoke you shot back up it again , and then you took off landing back on the road in one piece. Amazing to watch but Im sure it scared the Sh#t out of your bird

Sorry to hear that Medic cos I was the lad drooling over your bonnet saying how nice it looked.Sure scoobyclinic magic will rescue you tho.
Bad news Peccy an expence you didnt need when you are saving for the House.

Somebody did the same thing as medic a day later. I don't think it was anything too serious but they did have an ambulance.
Yes that patch of road is pretty muddy Marx, my back end is always a little twitchy on the way home from work on that bit.
Rich - the road down from Owler bar heading towards Chesterfield. Its a bit of a bugger this time of the year, apart from it getting muddy sometimes the drystone wall tends to drop presents for me into the road.

I have used that road for nearly ten years without a hitch. <looks for wood to touch>
<remembers the first corner on the road down from Owler Bar to Dysons
whoops

Yeah it did scare the sh*t out of my bird, and to tell you the truth it scared me a bit too. I was gonna carry on but once I let you all go by I carried on following and the tail kept on skippin out so I decided best not to risk it!! I've noticed that the o/s wing aint very health nor is the front bumper, dont think the suspension is fubar though ( I hope )
Looks like the Rex will be stood still for a few weeks now till all this bloody snow clears, its back to the trusty Punto for me again.

I sent a message to Medic last night to see how he was getting on. He directed me to the midland-scoobys forum, I thought I would repost the pics here (hope you don't mind Medic, I have scrubbed the number plate off
).

By the sounds of it the insurance people are not getting their act together so its still down at the clinic.
