Mine went on this afternoon just before the drizzle started,so that got me out of doing a wash, wax and valet.

Quick bucket of water & a wipe of the windows & wiper blades & i'm done.

Betts has done a great job on the grills & the front end is transformed.Plus my rad is now bird proof.Only way one would get through now would be as crinkle cut chips.

 

Excellent flat eric, I must admit, when Betts said at work that he's going t make his own grilles and how he was going to make them, I thought they was going to look a bit pants, but I stand corrected, he does make a bloody good job of them.

We've also made proper jigs for the blobeye, and classic, though my grille needs a bit more work done on it, but I'll be taking it with me tonight if anyone with a classic is interested

PS, the classic WR1 Styleee grille looks the nuts, even though I say so myself (I made the jig!!)

Absolutely, my first car was a MK2 Escort, and what fun I had in that, 1600 sport with rear wheel drive, excellent, had 4 of those, and then there's the capri I had for 3 years, only a 1600, but tail happy in the wet, wish I still had it sometimes, when the new owner came to look at it with his mates, the only thing they could find wrong with it was a slightly rusted diff cover!! aahhhh, happy memories

 

Good turnout tonight despite the weather and the fireworks lighting up the Southend Skyline like Baghdad.

I Have approached the Little Haven Childrens Hospice in Thundersly Nr Southend , They have Betwween 7-9 +_ More Kids in there Home over the Xmas Period , From the age of 1 Month to 19 Yrs , Thought that it would be nice to Deliver them Some presents , For those Less Fortunate than ourselves , They would like to Recieve , Cd's , Dvd's , Toys , Vidios , You get the Idea , But i just need to confirm this first .

The dates that i have in Mind ...

Collect The presssies @ the next Poser's 4Th Dec , Then arrange another convoy the following Sunday (12th Dec TBC ) To deliver the presents & show the Cars to the Kids, Have a Cup of Tea Slice of Cake etc...

i'm trying to get a magazine to cover this as well

Of course We will need someone to dress as Father Xmas!!!!!!!
