Just how far will this lot get me?
Too late now Carlos. The turbo is on its way to me right now, but Andy being Andy, if the turbo does not suit then he will change it to another.
I was set on the TD05 FE 16g, but have go for the 20g to max the engine to about 360+/320 torque.
We shall see when the mapping is all done in the new year.
Nice to 'hear' from all the same!
Hope I'm right! And Andy too!!

You need to look at the compressor efficiency curves to see why the 20G is so successfull, it requires lower rpm to produce the same boost as the large and small 16g.
The efficiency at a given flow is also considerably higher, this means less egbp required to generate boost hence increased flow at the same pressure.

I've got one EXACTLY like that!
The rims are infact VERY dark green/verging on black with pink 'STI' decals on each(!) Sound...interesting...but actually look quite appropriate.
Usually have the 17'' P1's on for the road.
One day I will sort out the photo thing for the Snet!
Still think it is good to see other's cars.
Bit of luck will have the Hall painted so can start on the Big Bolt On job on the engine.
Might bore you all with a thread ''Bolting on 380 bhp'' followed by removing a dead gearbox......
Then will show off the fab 1973 hill climb 911.....a real (slower) car!
Thanks for the pics Flat4!
