I've been to the previously mentioned dealer a couple of times. The second time was to convince myself I was being too hard on them after the first visit. Needless to say after being there a second time things were exactly as my mind remembered!!
Phil - PM me if you want to know exactly what I think!
Cheers

Just thinking - another option would be to spend peanuts on a deisel whilst we have what is supposed to be the worst winter for 100 years then in the spring, with the money you will have saved buy something then. In the mean time go test drive as many cars as you can!!!
Saying that, I was going to do this and look what I ended up doing! Massive power, rear wheel drive and 265/35/18 rear wheels make for a fun drive on grease, ice, snow etc!!
I'll get my coat!

If you go the cheap diesel route, I think Dazza still has his Clio for sale. £5k and 70mpg £100 insurance
We are all daft driving Scoobs and the like aren't we

Test drove the WR1 at Goldens the other day..
Lovelly drive... I was surpirsed that overall power increase (60+) didn't feel so dramatic..
Comes down to delivery I think. Mines more 'Turbo' (if you know what I mean). Peakier maybe, delivered in a lump. Whereas the WR1 felt smoother and more driveable across the range.. 5th gear torque for a 2 litre was impressive. I was also surprised at the handling, not as harsh as I thought.. overall a nice dynamic package.. I'll have to a back to back with an M3 again as a quick 10 minute in the cabriolet was a little short (as was the WR1, but better than nothing).. Possibly a M3 coupe this time..
As for a test drive in a RS4? Apparently the Audi group hasn't got one for sale anywhere.. what does this say about ownership?
As for the Hi Fi.. going to audition a complete Quad 99 CDP & pre-power combo tomorow..

Oral? Again, the Chairman has to come first **cough** in such club matters. Please form an orderly queue.
As for the aural feast, I may not be able to make tomorrow .. but I'm pretty excited nontheless.... I know, simple things.. etc.. But Chris & Dave know..
Now, back to my oral surfing.. Sorry, Aural surfing...
