Start time is 9am, bad news is that road works still, for one week more, at the Forth Road bridge, so meet at 8 at good ole Mcds and leave according to the traffic , prolly around 8.20 -30. For people coming from the other way or from Fife Ive left a link for dastek map.

Thanks again Spooks for the hassle of re-arranging today and good to meet you all again.

Hi John ,

Yes I was thanks , for once .. as u well know , rolling roads haven't been too successfull for me in the past . I am well pleased with the results , but , also well pleased that the car is healthy and running the way it should , which was another reason I wanted it RR'd ( only had it a month ) .
Your figure was bang on .. my last 03 WRX never even got near the figures quoted with PPP ( I still have a pang for the new age ..esp like urs , Scott's and Hugh's ie Blue but the budget just wouldn't allow it ) .

Nice meeting u and Hugh .. see u another meet soon I hope .

Cheers,

Steve

Good grief mate! I'm panging for figures like "300 bhp/302 lb/ft".......i.e. like what I thought I bought! I know there are a lot of variables to take into account but you'd think that PPP would come close to what they advertise (yours did anyway). Compare Scoobs to Evos which always seem to reach or exceed advertised performance. You'd think they would learn to understate their figures so they wouldn't have folk like us moaning when they took their cars to be dyno-ed. Anyway, grump over, the main thing was it was good to meet you all again, and well done to your bugeye!

Mmmmm, what next then I'm pretty sure theres at least 10bhp in the STi without going the PPP route or losing the warranty/cats

Nah..not yet.

Really cant make up my mind what i want..

Everytime i work out what i want performance/practicallity etc...i keep coming up with the scoob as the best answer.

2nd plan is just to get something normal...as i'm kinda losing interest.
