Sean T,
Dont let your car go,you will be better off keeping it. £6000 for a 93wrx your robbing yourself hold out until the market place picks up.Its like last year the irish punt was so high that cars were coming over all the time and being sold for very low prices over here.the importers were making a killing and buyers were getting good value for money.when i got my92wrx it was worth £8500-£9000, but now its more like £6500-£7000.its dropped so much in just over a year .if your after another car why not trade it in?

Listen to Cam guys, he knows what hes talking about. I reckon £7300 is pretty near but not close enough to sell it quickly, if thats what you want. As Ive said above, if youre not bothered about selling, KEEP IT, youll get robbed, fact.
The market is very low and Im not having a dig at anyone here but 13k for a MY93 WRX....rubbish. Im not saying it wouldnt happen, but Im in Northern Scotland myself and have NEVER heard/seen a car go for anything like that sort of money. I sold my 93 WRX last month and it was advertised up here (incl Aberdeen area) with the Auto Trader and I got not a single sniff, and that was at £7500. You will not £8k just by going to a different postcode, sit tight and hold out as long as you can.
Its a very hard thing to accept that youre going to lose a heap of cash but you will if you sell now. I did, hundreds of others have and will continue to do so.
I ended up getting £6150 for mine and no offense but the spec was infinitely more than youres, so, youll be lucky and be prepared to travel.
Best of luck anyway
Richie
PS Hows about you advertise it here again in a new thread, this has turned into a bit of a discussion ;o)
