Stelvio Tour 2005
Hi Terry just got SCOOBY MAG though the door and your in it on the SHOOTOUT section. My front brakes are not Roger proof on the Ring I need new discs and pad cracked and over cooked was the words from my local Subaru fitters. So going for EBC disks & Redstuff pads perhaps they would last a bit longer than the set up.Also having a look on Ebay fo some nearly new STI Bembros ???
There are only the Fantastic sounds of Scoobies on Heat in this one lol

I haven't seen it yet - but I should also be in the Southern Big One section too
Well that's all the footage downloaded now, and the tapes will be off in the post to Chris CW42 tomorrow... There are a couple of Nurburgring clips to post - Mrk's 8.48 lap, the Ring Taxi to Stairway to Heaven and the like!!
Terry - you get the Gold Star for making the best WWAAAAAAPPPP noises - both through having a great sounding car, but also through personal committment lol!!

Stormy - you were indeed going fast, although I tried to show some of the best moments - in fact I had to cut a full 20 mins of "best moments" out to make the vid vaguely sensible in size!
John - I had to cut about three hours of twaddle out of our in car section lol!!
Have to say the passengering bit was Great - had full confidence in Terry & John's driving, and thoroughly enjoyed your company
Also gave me time to photograph waterfalls and cows lol!!
Paul - I didn't notice any problem with your brakes on track, other than the ABS kicking in once when I forgot there was about 300kg of extra ballast in the car
I'm sure it will be even better with the EBC set up
Cheers

Marv - you're right - here's the True Fast Crew: http://www.rog.me.uk/EVOs.jpg
John & anyone else interested - SIDC have been offered the possibility of a whole day session at Knockhill on Saturday 22nd October from 9am to 5pm, with an hours break for lunch. Costs would be in the region of £100 for the whole day!!
Anyone interested can post here: http://forums.sidc.co.uk/messageview...threadid=44558
A local Castle does particularly good rates for B&B, I hear

my damn pc has crashed big time
first my car pc went down, so I took the hd out, and put it in my home pc. I then tried to reinstall the os (xp) on the car pc hd, but that didn't work, and has crashed the bloody lot!
Off to the pc shop tomorrow for a dose of recovery. All the info is still on there, I checked the hd of my home pc by plugging it into my sons pc
Just hope I don't have to reformat.
Damn, damn pc's, just when I need it the most.
Didn't even get to watch the whole of your latest vid either rog

A fantastic week away with great people. Hope to see some of you again in the not too distant future
(can't make Castle Combe on a work day tho as I only have a few days hols left for over Xmas
).Good to see Marv and Paul briefly at the Midlands meet on Sunday.

Hi Chrissy!
On our last night, after 17 beers, I remembered to take the sticker off, so headed outside in the dark, only to find I couldn't hardly see the car. Then, just as I was about to give up / fall asleep in the road, a pair of dazzling headlights lit up the back of Percy the Peugeot... Turned round to say cheers m8, and noticed that it was a bright yellow Porsche Carerra GT, who kindly stayed there untill I'd finished peeling the sticker off
That would never happen in Forfar lol!!
A Class video this time - Mrk doing an Awesome 8min 48s despite my gibbering, traffic and the fact it was still wet in places (the track, not me!)
http://www.rog.me.uk/Mrk's%20Lap.wmv 32MB
A few bits and bobs left - including some culture from Dijon...

no worries rog, at least I'll have enough storage space for it all now, I'll have the new 250gb and my old 160 and 120 gb's to handle it all,
although the jazz soundtrack may break my ears
