"Call on Me" seems to rip off the scene from "Perfect" (1985) with John Travolta in Jamie-Lee Curtis' aerobics class. Of course that's the same era as "Valerie" (1987) too.
No one dresses for gym class like that any more (i.e. make up, big hair, hair down except for headband, several pairs of chunky knee-high leg-warmers each, wearing a thong with no tights
- at least I guess we're meant to think they are bare-thighed - in fact you occasionally notice the shimmer of hosiery)

BTW - I took the vid off MTV (daytime version only) onto a DVD-RAM, then edited out all the frames with the guy in them, made up the time shortfall back to 2min 50sec by copying some of the remaining scenes into appropriate places, then burned it to a DVD-R taking the unedited audio from the original source. It's such a scream - just the girls on their own and makes it look like the class leader and the blonde white-top-black-thong girl are getting the hots for each other ;=P

Will have to wait till 1st nov i'm affraid. Can't fit it on my BY space even tho i've removed a lot of the junk (they only give you 100mb), and i really can't use my sidtech site at the mo as i've already run up £80 bandwidth fees this month thanks to the ***** on that other forum
