My car is a standard STi, its outpaces M3's (E46's), is a more enjoyable and chuckable car than an evo, hmmmm looks like you have it all wrong then (oh and i believe its also quicker round the ring )

Yup

My boss has a new M3, took him out in my STi5 and he admitted it *felt* faster and if he tried putting into bends like I was, he'd be in a hedge.

id still have my my04 sti ppp over an e46 m3, ive been into rallying for years, thats why i've got one and its a cult thing. I can see why everybody has an M3, theyre amazing, just not for me. Id prefer a merc anyway, m3's round here are common as muck and merc have more class :thumb

It would be interesting to know how many of those running the M3 down have actually driven one really hard on its limits, or even a Scoob for that matter.

Les?

Jason ........... The green hell is a good place to get a good comparison on cars. My Sti (light mods) will hang onto the back of a well driven CSL around there but I couldnt overtake it for sure. Have yet to find a well driven M3 to compare against.
