Another vote for Steven Done.
He has got to have had some of the most influence on the majority of Members on Here!! If not for him, the ECUTEK software may have been a thing only of dreams!!
How many people are running TEK2 or 3 management in their cars!!

LOL
This is great
OK. we need to be careful here. We are looking for the ultimate celebrity within this this community, so we're going to have to cut this list down somewhat.
It needs to be someone who became notorios, and had a substantial impact on this community.
johnfelstead is a great example. His exploits in his various cars (the 20 billion horse power roller scate for example), his 'ring trips, running his engine in over a weekend, etc.
Stef is a great example, his 10 second laps round the ring in CK1 (the Cossie Killer).. his donington gravel exploits, the "car bra", etc.
These two guys have become icons of the building of this community, and are every bit part of the very fabric of what it is built on.
It's difficult, as there are a whole number of notworthy people, but we need to be very picky!
I'll give it a little longer then publish a list of those *I* understand to be the pick of the bunch based on the concept outlined above and let everyone have the chance to suggest changes.
After that, we'll go for the vote
All the best
Simon

The only problem I forsee with some of people, are that they have long since left Scoobynet, or certainly in the light that they used to be in
So all us newcomers over the last few years, wont have heard of half of them
So you cant just have people from days gone by

Top Tech for me is either John Banks or Bob Rawle. The sheer amount of advice from them to us idiots is mindblowing!!
Top comedian has to be pslewis, that guy has had everyone who posts on this site up in arms at some point or other, and you can hear him laughing about it through your monitor sometimes I swear!!

Rich -
Blowdogartz - superb
But anyway, my nomination has to go to StuartH, the copper that never was (you remember, he was ******** that girl off Watchdog - not ). Still causes a "Hurrumph, we don't mention him" reaction on here to this day
Exposed, amongst others, by RonnieH, who wasn't quite what he seemed either - PMSL
Anyone not aware of the story should go over to 22b.com and ask Anders about it - still guaranteed to blow a gasket over it

It was Charlotte, actually - or more correctly, it wasn't
I'm just bored on a Saturday evening because Lesley is off on a trip to the US and i've got nothing else to do - her second of three trips to the US in a month (and the first one we had together - holiday/business was 15 days on its own )

I am starting to feel very old all of a sudden. (shut it Askew before you start )
Carolyn was a lovely lady, thanks to scoobynet i had the chance to get to know her and have met many exceptional people.
I could write a book about the last 5 years of scoobynet experiences, some fantastic and some not so fantastic moments. As these have been mentioned, one amusing one was when i was flying over to the USA to do my first rally with Jamie (Subie Gal) and i was met by StuartH and RonnieH (beware anyone with a capital H in their name!) at heathrow for a drink to pass the time. I got the full bull**** treatment as soon as i arived. Stuart apeared in a rather dapper wastecoat and suit smoking a cigar, aparantly he had just got back from escorting the Prime Minister to chequers in his helicopter. PMSL So we sat and chated for a while during which time Stuart was recieving texts from Charlotte PMSL as he was just about to shoot off to a party at Anne Robinson's. *shakes head* It was when i returned and tried to contact Stuart (he was also part of heathrow security LOL) that the truth was fully out. At least i wasnt bored in the departure lounge.
In the early days, everyone knew everyone, or at least we thought we did! LOL

Stef, for his sheer lack of fear (or is that brains) on track
Harj and Shaun for "the roadshow" (is that still archived ?)
Rich Squires and Chuckster for having the cojones to take 22Bs on track with a bunch of loonies
PTMW! for having the bottle to drive around with a sticker saying "Puff" on his car
JohnFelstead for all the previously mentioned exploits and for keeping us all amused with his Westie melting/repairing antics

With all the mentions of pslewis, can I just remind the readership of his gold wheels charity offer? I thought that was a classic.

I'll nominate Felly for his exploits and power of recovery..
Bit like old times reading the names of the posters on this thread..

Jonathan Palmer and the B28!
I was one of the 28 (and one of the 6 or so actual drivers thrown out on the day) but, fair play to him, he apologised and invited me back later, not that I've made it back yet though...
