WIN WALES RALLY GB TICKETS!

I have been so busy at work recently that I've not been following this thread 100%
BUT
I got a call from Gossy this PM (standing in Rally HQ) offering me one of his passes for a day as Me Julie was unable to do the whole w/end with him. A completely un-expected and genuine offer that I was really touched by (read gobsmacked!).
I was able to do him a favour @ Brands last November & here he was remembering it and attempting to pay it back.
Unfortunately I committed to something yesterday that meant I was unable to take up his kind offer, so I was gutted as well
Gossy's gesture was for me the sort of thing that really makes SN a GOOD PLACE TO BE PART OF, so thanks m8, sorry I'm not there but I hope you have a really great time

Neil, indeed I didn't pay for my Plus membership but I did not take part in the 'free draw' which is initially posted as 'WIN WALES RALLY GB TICKETS!'
I am just concerned about my cousin Brian and his feelings.

Cousin Vinny

So James what's the difference in Brain stating he would have given them to Del, than you getting one from Gossy.
'His Julie' (Brain's) could have gone but the tickets were off to someone else before he got a sniff at them.
No T&Cs to tell him that tickets were 'non-transferrable' doesn't help his feelings at this point in time.
P.S. Puff, feel the love

As I've said above, I have not been fully following this thread. However, on going through it I notice that Brian first offered the tickets for sale "anyone make me an offer?". Knowing Simon as I do, & as you also do, I can imagine that the prospect of someone profiteering from the tickets rather stuck in his craw. I'm too tired to get into a long discussion on this but I'm sure that had Brian contacted Si & said can my m8 go in my stead, then it wouldn't have been a problem, but sticking a "FS" thread on SN was possibly not the way to go about it.
Anyway, what ever the in's/out's of it, the point of my post is a thank you to Gossy for thinking of me, as he didn't have to but did. That's what SN should be about, not a load of bitching, backstabbing and axes to grind.
Unfortunately I don't "feel the love" as my eyeballs are drooping and even if Heidi Klum walked into my study nakid and demanding sex, I don't think I would be able to help

I said this before on this thread as such but this thread has gone very sour considering where it first started out.
I for one hope that it all comes out well (whatever the result!) and everyone can live together happily.

Congratulations Paul,
Don't forget to post up the pictures,
Brian
P.S. Can we please end the nipping - the issue is between myself and Shaun/Simon and it is sorted with no issues or hard feelings. Please don't read into old posts and start a slagging match when other discussion may not be in public.
