forgot to ask- on the rears- is the setting that's used at the "12'o clock" position?
as there's no marking etc..

yes chrome, thats right. If you look carefully, you can make out a raised bit @ 12 oclock position, that indicates where to position the dial.
having fun yet?

Running mine at 3 front and 6 rear, nice and tight just how I like it
On the rears there is a black arrow @ 12 o clock above the dial.
Car feels so much better now, feels very similar to my old 106 gti, going to get my geometry done in a couple of weeks.

Thumbs up

whereas I found 4 + 8 too hard and it promoted *too much* oversteer on mine; but then I'm using a 24mm rear ARB..
3+6 seem to work better with my chassis mods..
oh, and an ALK makes it sooooooo much better- understeer? what understeer?

Yes, agree with the above on the track. I didn't get any understeer, plenty of oversteer though

We had ours set on 3 Front and 6 rear but then my Gas discharge HID bulbs fell out of their holders in the headlamps

And err indraws complained about her ***** bouncing too much

So now on wuss mode 2 Front 4 Rear as for the shocks in general the are well worth the money

Anyone had problems with there shocks since fitting them?

I seem to be getting a noise from one of the rear ones, it can only be described as a escaping gas. Its not there when the car is stationary and seems to go away as the shock warms up ie have drive a few miles?

Any ideas, ways to test?

Thanks Anthony

no probs here, just adjusted back to 3 front, 6 rear for the "raid across the border" run on sat/sun
How about getting it on a rolling road, and getting someone to jump up and down in the boot?

Read this thread with interest as I'm looking to change the shox and springs on my bugeye. Disappointed to see they were classic only!
