Cool This is a brilliant venue for car club meets.

paulpalmer: Well done for organising this one, the home made roast dinner at the Fleur De Lis pub was just amazing, they really looked after us.

This is a brilliant venue for car club meets.

Shame about the rain, it came about 2hrs to early, but then again it is England.

Here are a few pictures, by the way the Scoobys put the other marques to shame, real good turnout from Scoobynet.

Ajax, Paul

Hi Ajax

The food was excellent I had a roast dinner just after you left Sorry I didn't catch you to say bye before you left It was a bit busy

The turn out for scoobynet was very good I thought and it was certainly noticed that in the early part of the afternoon that the scoobs outnumbered the VW's

As you mentioned the venue is spot on When the weather's a little better next year I'll speak to Nicky and set up another meet there

Thanks

Thank you all for turning up, was good to see you all, it was a shame about the weather, from a VAG point of view we can normally muster between 40 and 70 cars, which can usually cover a fair bit of the green (a lot of the regulars had taken a trip to brighton - shame on them).

We are happy if you want to hold your meets at the pub, Andy and I are very big car enthusiasts. Over the winter months the VAG groups hold their meet on the first Sunday of the month through the daytime, and in the spring/summer months they use the 3rd Tuesday evening of the month.

In the winter you will have to use the carpark and the road for parking for these meets, grass is wet and boggy and council give us a right load of S**t if we mess their grass up Any other time we can use the green.

Just let us know, and if you want to make it a regular event like the VAG group this is fine too.

As long as your not gonna rip my R32 anymore you hear everything working behind the bar

Nicky & Andy

Paulpalmer: Lets hope we get a summer next year, sorry about the last picture, I have now re-posted it.

Friendly people, I even got a formal introduction, nice one.
This meet has got loads of potential; just don't invite the rain next time
