I do like the confused looks from the test-drivers from Cheam Motors as I wave at them......

 

I always wave at Sports etc, Cause ive got a Scoop big enough for their lack of one ........... !!

I always wave to Sport drivers but they never wave back. Ignorant *******s IMO ( yes IMO )

i have a new shape and i wave and flash at all scoobys. i think most people that have a sport dont know what they have. i get many suprised looks when i flash and wave at them.they dont seem to link there car with the faster version.
i would be willing to bet that some owners have no idea that there car is even a version of a world rally car. i usually look for the fog lights.
i am sure i am not the only one to think i saw a scooby comming towards me. only to see when it gets closer that it is a toyota corrola.
must add not all sport drivers are like that. but i have never been waved at by a sport in my area.

I'll wave at anyone when I get mine tomorrow - so please wave & I promise to wave back at any scooby driver (even tho mine is only a sport) ))

 

i will flash anything that has a scoop or fog lights i flash first then if i get a wave then i wave, that way you can pretend you were flashing someone else

no one seems to think i am an scoob anyway

i was going towards a white classic which had a old man and woman in it and i saw her go "oo look another white one"

she looked so cheerfull, couldnt resist a little "hiya" style wave lmao

i drive a sport and always wave at all imprezas some wave some dont but tbh i dont give a toss what people think.miserable gits also drive scoobs.as for turbo snobery thats their problem,i have a poorly paid job a mortgage and two kids so i think im doing pretty well owning and running any scoob.

just be happy with your motor my step dad used to drive us around in a purple hand painted morris marina! im still trumatised 20 years later.

 

Ive been waving at turbo owners, but they seem to be ignoring me must be my lack of scoop

I tend to look for the scoop. The last sport owner I waved at stuck two fingers up at me!

Got a wave the other day by a new shape sport, and the bloke drivin it had to be about 60 with grey hair, made my day for a old bloke driving a scoob and waving.

 

did you see a red scooby sport at chievely services cumin back from jae at billing the other week or r u not from dorset, saw someone and had a chat a A34 juction with M4 comin back from billing to find out we were both goin back to poole in dorset but didn't find out where or who he was

 

i will flash any scoob but i tend to get some acknowledgement back whether it be a wave or smile or flash, all scoobs should stick together it is a bit of a larf and we are probably the only people that do it. I drive a Mica red sport round dorset (poole) and lets keep it up guys

I dont flash, but I do wave at all Subaru drivers but I also put my hand up to Mitsi owners also They may be the dark side, but hey, the cars still deserve respect

 

I wave to all impreza drivers, but as you say some just look at you.

So if the true enthusiasts have turbos, how come they cant spot another scooby!!!

I wave at every scooby i see.... and without fail,, all the turbo owners look

at me as though im some sort of 6 headed monster...

now a true enthusiast would be able to identify all varients of scooby, from a

gl to a sti..... but they openly admit if it hasnt got fogs or scoops they dont wave

certain posters seem to be implying is, its not a scooby, if it hasnt got a turbo... and the general public buy the non turbo varients...


how many of them drove scoobys before a certain gentleman won loads of rallys and made it famous...


bet they couldnt wait to get down the pub and remark on its farming pedigree!!!!!

i dont care what level of trim engine or drive system it has,, if its a subaru it gets a wave..

haha i was goign a run with my dads m8 who has a hatch dont know what 1 dont care :P anyway we were in his vectra and by force of habit he kept waving at the scoobys goign buy with miexd results some "do i know him?" "**** off"

 

i have a GL but i wave to all scooby drivers.
