GOOD NEWS MATE!!!
I should have my copy of delta dash by Sunday, wo will bring my laptop.
Anyone with ECUTEK'ed cars, I can let you know exactly what your car is doing. Only got 3 licenses though, so limited to 2 people I'm afraid.

Some helpful tips from a SIDC Member [Stormy]
Personal- Ensure you have a Helmet for you and your passenger, some circuits can rent you a helmet. Arms and legs must be covered and seat belts must always be worn.
Insurance – This subject could steal the whole show. Some main insurers will cover you some don’t, some have changed policy at short notice, check your policy. As I found out my current insurer policy to cover on track time changed in February with out policy holder notification. Castle Combe racing school recommend Competition Car Insurance for car track insurance on 0115 941 5255. They will insure your car on a per day basis. Minimum amount insured is £10,000.
Relax- After the first session you will relax, if you are driving badly and can’t get your act together pit and try again. Sometimes I find taking a passenger helps, as it can get lonely out there. You will also find as the day goes on the
number of cars running will reduce.
Tyres- Check tyre wear to suit conditions, bald tyres on a wet day isn’t fun. Just as running brand new tyres isn’t recommended as the wear rate will be very high. If your tyres only have 1mm of tread left at the beginning of the day, it is very possible your tyres will be illegal to drive home after a days track fun. If your tyres are non-directional you can “share wear “by rotating side to side and front to back, where as with directional tyres you can only go front to back or vice a versa.
Tyre Pressures- minimum pressure should be the handbook pressures for fast driving. To reduce tyre wear and also improve grip, increase pressure by 2 to 5 PSI (cold). Clearly different cars are affected differently by tyre pressure changes.
Brakes- Check discs and pads for wear, and if in doubt take spare brake pads if only to get you home. Check Brake fluid during the track day, if you have concerns with your brakes don’t drive. Remember to cool brakes down before applying hand brake to avoid warping your discs. I would recommend
saving your brakes for “golden laps” otherwise your day could finish earlier. Castle Combe is harder on brakes than Thruxton or Goodwood.
Clutter- Remove or stow clutter in your car, not only does it save weight it prevents clutter flying around the car.
Fuel- Remember to fill up prior to your sessions, you will burn fuel at an amazing rate, filling up with SUL, Optimax and/or performance enhancers can improve performance. Jap import cars remember to bring fuel octane boosters. Be aware of your fuel levels on some cars fuel surge can be a problem so I would suggest that you should have at least ¼ of a tank before starting a track session.
Headlights and Fog lights- Tape up prior to driving prevents damage and will keep light glass together should an incident happen.
Towing points,- if your towing points are covered you will need to remove the covers and fit a towing ring. If required this will add recovery of the vehicle should you “beach it” in a gravel track or break down.
Oil if you havent had a recent service or use the car for short trips change oil before track event, Fill oil to top mark, helps avoid oil starvation during corning.
