Tel: paint helps to seal and protect the wrap itself from extremes of hot (hard driving) and cold (frost/ice/water).
If you dont, it can just split causing a slight loss in power (cooler EGT's) and PITA as you have to re-wrap... more of an issue on headers imo. you can still spray the up-pipe, but wouldnt adivse wrapping that to the flexi' nature of it..

Hope you don't mind, but I have already been talking to Agriemach and have asked if I can get on the group-buy prices. Obviously individual shipping is a big advantage for me!
(Frustrated at missing out on most GB's as they are US -> UK and its not economically viable to then ship to Dubai

Im after wrapping the headers, downpipe and any left over will go around the centre section.
Im not 100% what to order although so far seems to be:
1" * 50'

20ft snapstrap and 20 clips
2 tins of paint.
does that seem
a) fair
b) excessive
c) woefully optimistc!

Bit difficult to say how much wrap folks need cause of different manifolds they use whether it's std headers or aftermarket.
1" x 50' will cover aftermarket headers if you wrap each pipe individually but you'll need a little bit more if you want the up-pipe completely covered. {get out clause}(so i'm told)
I've bought 2"x50' ft wrap which will cover my aftermarket manifold/up-pipe and downpipe. I wrap round the whole manifold with mine rather than individual pipes so less wrap will be needed plus the 2" with its' overlap will cover a greater area for the amount you use.
I'll probably have a bit (fair bit?) left over, but it won't go to waste. I also bought 2 tins of paint. Again probably overkill but can be used at some other time. Total bill less than £100 posted.
