Blue thunder was nowt more than a gazzell helicopter with an eggbox used for a cockpit, and Ernest Borgnine (Dominic Santini)

was a much cooler co-piolt than Dana Carvey (Clinton "Jafo" Wonderlove)!!

And anyway my fav was
Just two good old boys, never meanin' no harm....
Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with the law
Since the day they was born.

Straightnin' the curves, flatten the hills....
Someday the mountain might get 'em, but the law never will....

Makin' their way, the only way they know how....
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just two good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like two modern-day Robin Hoods....

I'm amazed nobody has mentioned the Equaliser. It was class. A 60 year old Edward Woodwoodwoodward who could beat up a New York crack gang single handedly whilst driving a Jag.

What about Gemini Man, had that guy out of Alias Smith and Jones didn't it? Used his digital watch to make himself invisible or something. Or was it all a dream?

Hardcastle and McCormack...wasn't that with some bloke who drives a little red sports car and a judge that let him off some crime but only if he helped him?

There was a show that lasted only a few episodes of an astronaught who whilst on a routine mission to fix something in orbit his eyes get exposed to sun rays and then back on earth it gives him super powers but only of a limited time.

wow having typed that out I can't see why it didn't survive!!!

Yep - thats the one. IIRC the car was one of those Nova kit carsthat all us kids thought looked really cool back in the early 80's!

Typical 80's cop show. Still i seem to remember a fit female partner and a pretty cool looking (for a yank) car.

Dukes of Hazzard was late 70's early 80's!!!

Rosco P Coltrane & Boss Hogg were the funny as ****!!

Knight Rider was also cool - I still watch it occassionally. It should never have worked -but did! There must be something about David Hasselhoff & cheese and making it work!

A Team - Legendary!! Nuff said!

Cheers
