Had the following email from AS Performance (not the easiest to read !)

hi, you spoke to my brother today.............................
just to clarify a couple of points - the prices quoted today for Pagid rs4.2.1 and Ferodo ds2500 include "free" delivery to most of the UK!!!!!!!!!!
also "goodridge" lines are £55inc. for stainless fittings RRP £75inc. / £47.50inc. for zinc RRP £65inc..................deal for numbers again.............

RRP for the Pagid rs4.2.1 is £154.95inc................. - std "deal" for scoobynet is £144.38inc. (inc. delivery)...............>5 £139.99inc. / 6>10 £130inc. / 11>20+ £120inc............

RRP for the Ferodo ds2500 is £151.77inc.(recent price increase)............current std "deal" for scoobynet is £125inc. (inc. deliver) / new "deal will be £135inc.......................can do at old price for reasonable numbers (£125inc.) / 10+ £120inc.................

the pad prices do include "free" delivery to most of UK and ALL prices include VAT
cheers

Those Goodbridge lines are a bargain, the cheapest I have found is £51.70 for zinc plated fittings and £65.56 for stainless steel fittings!!!!

As for the price of the pads, they are slightly cheaper when you take into account the free P&P, the cheapest place I found for DS2500's were £117.89 (scoobymania) though I couldn't find any prices for P&P, usually it is about £7.50 on a pair of pads (£125.39 total)

Not sure about the price on the Pagid pads, I haven't price checked them against any other supplier.

For those who are interested in the new CERAMIC red stuff pads, a fellow scooby owner has found out some prices, £121.03 inc VAT for the pads and £320 inc VAT for pads and turbo groove disks for a group buy of 10 sets+.

Pagid pads and Ferodo pads prices incl. a "free" delivery anyway as a "deal" for scoobynet peeps...............
Sorry, just realised 'stockcar' is from AS Performance, I thought you were asking me to clarify the prices to you, rather than clarifying the prices to me!

Your spelling is as bad as mine, just spotted I called them Goodbridge lines rather than Goodridge! Just as well you lot know what I am on about!

Ordered my goodridge st/stl lines today, £55 as promised and some braided fuel line at £5/m (some of mine is cracking serverly and it's only a year 2000 car).
Postage was £5, so for just the lines you are looking at about £3.

These lines are the biz aparently, and have the necessary bits for connecting them to your struts, unlike some of the other braided hoses, order yours tomorrow !
I never had any problems with them on my MK2 escort anway!

What's the guidance on which pads/discs/lines to buy for mainly fast road use ... and maybe a bit of track use? Tis for a modded STI5 with 16" wheels.

Alyn, what would you recommend? I am after discs all round, pads and lines.

Paul
