Now you are all trolleyed up on beer, is this a good time to ask for a PPP for the impreza sport? There must be something you guys can do?

Going to the pub does not necessarily equate to being 'trolleyed up on beer' particularly if you're drinking coke.

We would like to do a PPP for the normally aspirated cars but once again it comes down to economics. Whatever we do is not going to match the £/hp increment you would have by just changing to a Turbo. The gains from a normally aspirated car are never as easy or cheap as a turbo car and it costs as much to do the development etc.

You should go to some of the Nova / Max Power meets, I'm sure they could tell you how to do it

I think most of us on here grew up on milk or juice

and yes, this does tend to explain a few things (one being the requirement to drive everywhere sideways at high speed.....)

Nick.

Aggree about being able to drink coke, as I am one of lifes few tea total 24 year olds, that comment just seamed to go with the comedy nature of the rest of the thread.

I know there is just not the market for sport upgrades, when the obvious upgrade would be a turbo. Although I have been told there is a company doing a chip for the sport which can bring it up to 150BHP, seam to only ever get their answer phone. Must leave a message someday.

We've done some work already and the two cars we've tested gave good results with a silencer change (over 140bhp at PE) but not much more if you started to remove cats etc. Getting into the ECU will cost a relatively large amount of money, at least as much as doing the same for a WRX or STi and the relative volumes would be tiny.
