Aye was a good laugh wasnt it Paul, was real surprised at how well my car was doing at points....... but the tyres werent up to the job( reason for me sliding a bout a bit) good way to get new ones huh
Your motor was doing well, so impressed with its pick up and torque through the gears
Soz if i kicked up any debris, but as I say it was either that pothole or the bus.

Nae probs spooks, would have rather taken a rock throught the windae, than you hit the bus mate. Chips and dents are repairable. Anyways didnae happen, lets be thankfull its a tyre your replacing mate. Wasny sure about those falkens, heard mixed reports, think i will steer clear of them for my next buy? lol.(dont know how to post the smiley faces). Toyo's me thinks, however BRD stones have served me well to date, but too costly and poor wear.?

Until next time

I have some footage.

I can host some; although webspace is getting limited.

If anyone has msn 6.2 I can send it your way.

Many many thanks to the folks who took the time to organise this. The day was tops. After a year of Scooby ownership this was the first time I'd attended anything like this. Fantastic array of hardware.

My other half used to think my zorst was loud. Tsk Tsk. Mine's as quiet as a mouse next to some of you guys.

I've got a few pics which I'll get hosted once I get a minute.

@DRB5 - I think it was you I passed on the way into Inveraray. First in and I went to the wrong Car Park .. Doh !! Only turned up the correct car park just before leaving.

@Kart_Man - "Who did I follow....."
That looks like me at the front ( sorry if I was holding you all back !! )

Looking forward to the next one.

What a top day out. Great to see so many cars there and put some faces to the names.

I was the one with the black sti type r. Only had the car a week and that’s me had it airborne, wheel-spinning, locked up and drifting out of corners all in the one day, and it looked like I had an uneventful day compared to some. Can’t wait for the next one.

What a great day, At LLS my m8 counted approx 45 cars and that was before dougster and others arrived. Must have been nearly 50ish all in. It was good to finally meet some of you. I was in the standard silver sti 2, and my m8 was in the black type r. He now knows there is defo no abs!!

I think I was in front of him when the lack of ABS was verified. Heard a squeal and seen a wee puff of tyre smoke in my mirror.

Absolutely great day... BIG thanks for all the organisation that went into it, well done!!

Good to actually meet some of you guys and girls and put faces to names, well worth the trip thru.. and the 6.15am wake up call!!

I was in the Silver Classic on Anthracite P1 Wheels, with Private Reg and Firestorm Exhuast... The one at the far right of this pic...

Caz........ Some of the overtaking in Stage 2 and Stage 3 was 'intersting' mate, but all good fun, *cough*Corsa up the Hill*cough*!! Thanks alot for coming to find us in Stirling by the way, otherwise I think we'd probably have got even more lost!!

Had a good bit of fun with a Silver MY03 PPP with private reg (far left of the above pic)... Good idea to hang back from the slower cars, then to speed up 'slightly' and enjoy the corners!!

Got a little hairy when got to the top of a 'jump' just to find that the road kinked to the right slightly immediately after!! Thats when I discovered the real colour of adrenaline...

Had the car off all 4 wheels many times throughout the day, got the back end kicking out of a few tighter corners, impressed myself at how well the Impreza is suited to those roads.. As were the other 3 passengers in my car!!

On the way home, I was following a UK 300, which I passed.. Then followed a UK 300 with full rally decals, looked very very cool!! I can now admit that we were slightly lost (not for the first time), and that I was following you in a desperate attempt that you'd lead me onto some main roads that I recognised!! Once we got to Dollar, I knew the road from there..

I will definitely be up for the next one, sooner the better!!

Cheers,
Grant

Cheerz

I understand that rwd & rain don't mix when ur planting loads of horses on the tarmac then chuck in a corner to the equation and it can easily turn into a disaster. Excellent run-out all the same.
